I think is better for me to wait until the final version of binaries are released.
Once this is done, trading will resume also?

Trading is still possible : https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-XMG
You can buy and sell as much as you want, you only cannot deposit or withdraw.
But trading works very well.

Yes indeed. Magi team will request the exchanges to update wallets after new release. After that all things should work fine again.

Main net update:

Updated the main source code (v1.4.3.1):

1) fix sync issue
2) protocol ver 71062

https://github.com/magi-project/magi

Protocol ver 71062 will get us to where once we get on the latest revisions, we'll disconnect all prior versions. Pls update to this version. I'm compiling binaries and will post links once available.

Here are binaries for v1.4.3.1:

http://coinmagi.org/bin/m-wallet-1.4.3.1/

The plan of merging fixes, that is v1.4.4:

1) Get another test wallet tomorrow

2) On Wednesday, 9/13, v1.4.4 source code finalizing; depending on how much time to compile the complete set of binaries as well as documentation, we might be able to make post until 9/14

The difficulty adjustment gets little tricky since we're disturbing the way blocks are accepted by enforcing block checking. The thing is that what happens to PoW difficulty that is adjusted based on block time will make corresponding influence on the block value, that's the center of the question.

Bumped this one for the info!

All functions very well, look at price and volume at bittrex, my wallet stakes fantastic.
What do we want more, you can put btc in Bittrex and buy more of this unique coin.
In a few days you can put these coins back in your own wallet again to continue staking
or leave them to trade, as you can do today.

I've noticed the very same thing mining on m-hash.
It appears to be prevalent across multiple pools.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can shed a bit of light on this.

At this rate, I'd be losing money mining on my vps's.

Situation is a very strange. Today I mine ~15% of usual with same hashrate. Also 5 hours ago my wallet mine POS block, but still 0 confirmations. checkwallet/repairwallet - no difference.

We know about reward model. But I never see so low reward ever. I had ~50% drop with net hashrate 80+, but today difficulty wasnt 10+, this day difficulty was as usual. I think we have problems in ver 1.4.3.1. Do you really think testing on a real miners is a good idea?

Did you see the changes in the latest version? It's basically none but a bump in the protocol version.
The rewards being low is likely due to big hashrates raging since last night (UTC). Calmer now though.

Wallet v1.4.3:

- PoW Block reward: 30% of normal value for temporary and back to normal after the fix is fully done
- PoS rewards: 20% more also temporarily and back to normal after the fix is fully done

These are the best tests, to see if the sync problem is definitely fixed.
The reward algorithm is not changed, only max. blocksize is reduced till 30% of old reward,
so max 15 instead of 45 XMG. (and with raging hashrates this, as always, will be reduced until 0)
