I have in my magi.conf

Code:
connect=104.128.225.215
listen=0

add node is commented out for the time being (basically the ish from an earlier post)

Wallet is at (at the time of this post) 1823277

Trasma is at 1823132, xpoolx is at 1823148, minerclaim is staying in sync w/ the wallet...

Both Trasma and xpoolx are discovering sequential blocks... Probably safe to say those two are no longer on the "dev split," no?

That is all that is in my mining wallet, and it hasn't updated since 1823113 and it matches my staking wallet so I think Joes node is down.

what is the current price in the marketplace?

Trust me, not enough to waste your time. If you're looking to invest, then you'd be better off waiting a month or two.

Wallet wouldn't sync when developers node came back. I rolled back the blockchain to the last good snapshot I had, from about 8 days ago and re-synced. Guess what? All the goddamn coins I've mined in the last 24 hours disappeared Angry I've been on developers "official" chain only, as we've all been told is "correct" chain and the prick decides to pick a different chain and rob me of my coins. Thanks Joe, you thieving fuckin' asshole!

Oh ho ho, you're seriously trying to blame Joe for this? This entire debacle was Vitalik's doing. Joe is in defensive mode, and I don't blame him. He's trying everything that he can to get control back of our network, and if that means invalidating or rolling back a few hundred blocks, then I'm fine with that.

If you knew that XMG is a shit-show right now and you still chose to mine it with all you've got, then that's your fault.

I was mining on the *OFFICIAL* chain, according to the developer. I would not expect that to get rolled back. Yet for some reason he chose to go with a different chain? You can't blame that on Vitalik. I'm not really sure why any pools were not on the official chain anyway, but that should have been their problem.

Yes, I am seriously blaming Joe. If he says 1 chain is official & correct, stick with that. Otherwise he should just say "roll the dice and take your chances". Were it not for Joe's words, I would have been on the minerclaim pool, as they seemed to be the majority.

Not down, he changed which chain he was on. Official chain open to change at a whim. You need to get a copy of the blockchain from a few days ago, then re-sync. Then all will be good, until it isn't.

Not the first time I've had to do a full resync (Wallet originally was on a Windows desktop, then found out the hard way a RPi Zero can't handle wallet duty, currently using an OrangePI PC for that task). Since then, I've had to resync a couple times... Reasons...

I have a copy of the 3042 chain from here: https://m-core.org/bin/block-chain/

Downloaded after the last update date listed on that page (but before today)...

Updated magi.conf to mirror the Trasma admin's advice using connect in lieu of add-node and switching off listen (see my previous post), deleted peers.dat, resynced. I have a single connection to I'm assuming Joe (if he runs .215) that is staying in sync with minerclaim and poolinfo at the moment...

Not much else I can say to that really...

Found this interesting chunk of info in my debug.log:

received block f07005ddf0c663c39008
Misbehaving: 104.128.225.215:8233 (0 -> 100) DISCONNECTING
disconnecting node 104.128.225.215
ERROR: ProcessBlock() : block with too little proof-of-stake
trying connection 104.128.225.215 lastseen=0.0hrs
connected 104.128.225.215

If I had to guess, Joe's node is trying to send out faulty PoS blocks, and our wallets are purposely disconnecting.

Edit: I purged my blocks and database folders, downloaded a snapshot and resynced with the dev node. Now I'm up to where Minerclaim is... I thought Minerclaim looked quite normal compared to Trasmamod. After doing checkwallet and repairwallet, my wallet balance wallet was back up to my pitiful near 6xmg.

so blockchain 1823169 is the right chain???

cos some other pools are on 1823327

i asked you this in a pm to you earlier.

Edit: Everyone is trying to work out which pools are right. cos right now there are 2 chains and no one knows which is the true chain. And if ppl are on the wrong chain and lose all the coins they have mind they are going to be extremely pissed off at you devs.

Joe needs to tell us cos everyone is getting mixed results!!!!!

It needs to come from him.

everyone is playing the guessing game right now and he needs to tell it straight. some ppl's wallets is on one chain and others are the other even after deleting the db and re-syncing.

edit: i myself have deleted the db 3 times and always end up on one chain or the other which going by yours its either right or wrong. WE NEED TO KNOW. Who's is right. and this is using only his node and with listen disabled and server disabled, etc.

HE NEEDS TO SAY WHICH CHAIN IS WRONG AND WHICH IS RIGHT!!!!!!

I count 4 possible chains:

1) Minerclaim/Poolinfo/Joe's node (blockheight all match)
2) Trasma (different blockheight, mining sequential blocks)
3) xpoolx (another different blockheight, also sequential mining)
4) whatever Vitalik (guessing it is him) is doing as seen on CryptoID

Well, maybe 5 if you count m-hash before they hit the stop button.

I'd say whatever pool is mirroring .215 is on the correct chain (that'd be minerclaim for the time being). Although, minerclaim's stats are a bit messed. At the moment, pool hash is greater than network hash. Probably nothing...

My wallet is showing a similar blockheight to Dougy (3332 due to the time it took to type this up from my phone). Adjust your config and resync. While it goes against "decentralized," a central node is what we got to work with until whatever is broken is fixed.

No need to blow a gasket quite yet... Ain't hard to look at a few websites and compare things.

Edit: also, I imagine Joe is not responsible for maintaining pools. If he doesn't know, he doesn't need to respond to your inquiry.

tramas and xpoolx was on the right chain yesterday, minerclaim kept going down to resync chain. now all of a sudden my wallet disconnects and sitches to the minerclaim chain...

Not blow our stack

we just want a straight answer on the right chain.

would you like to mine 100xmg and then find out you just mining air for the past few days?Huh??

thats the point of all of this.

Reloading the blockchain again,  made the wallet come alive once more.

Current number of blocks  1823335
Estimated total blocks  1448292

With only one node. no listen and renamed the peers.dat file to peers.dat.old

PoM down,  my guess,  any pool which has netblocks around 1823335 is the correct one.  Which according to poolsinfo,  to be Minerclaim.net  hence 80.23 Mh/s ...
