According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

In nonce-pool, I see blockfinder
Rank   Worker   Blocks   Coins Generated
1   seeksilence.1   2   8
2   seeksilence.9   2   48
3   seeksilence.5   1   6

So I found a total of 62 coins? But I only got about 14 coins by joining the pool. Is it worth to try solo mining? My hashrate is only ~40k/s in total.

Also, my wallet had balance about 15 coins but no stake. Should I keep the wallet open to get the stake? I am not quite understanding the POS. Thanks.

In order to stake (PoS) your coins need to have a maturity i.e. 5 hours or 30 days.

Solo mining with the total hashrate is like solo mining Bitcoin with 10 GH/s. You CAN find the winning ticket but there is no huge chance.

Welcome to Magi mining.
Yes you need to open the wallet for staking.
For more info I think one of the miners can help you.

Dependencies

Install CMake, Curl
I know a few of my contacts would say an instant NO just for this reason. Libcurl is an hell of a dependency and nobody, nobody in my sector would touch it without an insulating ten foot pole, an adequate salary bonus OR an explicit order.

As a side note: I'd like to thank github for being a total asshole not having notion of the zlib license. Some legal departments do not permit MIT code either.

Hello coin of the Magi people! Smiley

I'm very pleased with all the achievements this coin has reached by now, but there's still one thing I am not sure/aware of.
What do you guys think Magi block chain could offer for application developers? Some kind of file encrypting service, or a self authentication service within the block chain itself. Maybe a game which runs on Magi chain?

Yesterday, 2 other cloud mining ponzis collapsed, many investors lost a lot of money. That's why it's not a good idea to invest money/coins in any service that promises you quick ROI and huge profit.

Magi isn't a "get rich quick" scheme project. We're working long-term without any shady practises or empty promises. Our growth is slower, buy steady and honest. So before stepping in the next ponzi, consider investing in Magi!

How much must be sold for the 10000 XMG?
