Quick feedback on fibrelock: It's a petty that entering a pattern can only be done by clicking all the buttons seperatly (click, release, click release), rendering it more of a keypad without characters on the buttons. I was expecting more of a 'swipe' feel similar to the android lock, where you keep the mouse button pressed and make some sort of figure, releasing the mousebutton only after finishing the figure. This would improve the value of the feature massively and make it truly userfriendly! Maybe something that can be worked on in future releases. Not that it is a priority. :p

^^ Nice idea Lol That's what I thought Fibre Lock was. Maybe it would be a nuisance if people are clumsy and accidentally swipe too far and press the wrong button. You could just enable the on screen keyboard and get the same functionality for any wallet.

On entering the pattern for the first time, it would need to be entered at least twice in the case of swiping, but that is pretty much what all android devices ask as well. swiping too far when unlocking the wallet would simply result in a wrong password and have no adverse effects at all. I'm also curious how the encryption behind the Lock works, that seems to be pretty important for the safety.

My Blocknet Summary:Wrong Blocknet is the Hosting.
XC, Fibre, Swift and all other coins are the "APPLICATIONS" .
Applications can make money.
Money can be shared.
Shareholders are Blocknet
Shareholders are Coins Participating
Shareholders are Maintenance Fees
That is my summary. And if I am honest I am looking forward to that. That gives a lot of possibilities. Feel free to correct me if I got something wrong. Why is this very good for us? Because Shareholders get money.

Question? Does blocknet have to have permission from devs to ad their coin to the blocknet? Once coins are released and since they are based on open source code isn't everyone free to use the coin/code as they wish even without consent from its creator?

Interesting coin, I'm holding quite a bit and looking forward to the future. Going to get me some blocknet and give it a chance to make something special. See where that goes...
Another thing, I really like the idea of fiberos. Has anyone proposed creating an android modified rom that has fibreos features?
Keep up the good work!

Hi Bytas This is the first released revision of FibreLock and yes certainly new developments like full swiping will be looked at for future releases. The way that the wallet encrypts the password / passcode has not changed. FibreLock adds an additional method of getting the password into the encryption mechanism in a way that doesn't use the keyboard subsystem, so that key logger malware can't monitor it. As you can imagine making the FibreLock code public at the moment would be a security risk, so we are lining up some trusted reviews of the code so the public can feel confident in using it.

Well that's my concern, If the buttons just represents a couple of characters that get put into the password field it's easy to reverse engineer and making a table of all possible passwords wouldn't be too hard, so some sort of advanced algorithm would be nice in the long run. Theoretically it should be possible to make an opensource version that is safe, secure and unhackable. Closed source in ok to start with, but opensource is a must for mainstream addoption. But the lock is amazing so far, so great job on that
