Lot's of new features, but the main one being encrypted group chats, which is pretty awesome ... you should try it out! Tor and I2P coming soon.

Well it's my first post here. Figured it would be a useful one.   My friend have you downloaded the new platform? Or are you just following up with xmr love's incredibly intelligent post? 

   I find it shameful that the primary goal if cryptocurrency was initially privacy.. and now the primary goal is to make money.   So many people fighting over this coin or that coin, lying though their teeth to try and bump satoshis up or down..

   I'm not sure you understand the importance of this update and the release of Umbra.   This is a platform, a foundation of which to build on... Decentralized group chats and channels are essentially a decentralized IRC.. a decentralized Slack.. a decentralized telegram...   do you not realize the importance of this?

The official twitter account has grown by over 700 new followers in a similar amount of time too, I consider these figures to be represent near exponential growth compared to the past.

That will be the marketplace within Umbra which is nearly finished and that is exciting actually. I am trying to see if the rumour of actual merchants outside of umbra starting to use SDC....
