Now ZEC is out, what's the update on that if any?

As an engineer with computer science background, I believe it shouldn't take that much time to link buttons to functions.

I agree. But it's not a reason not to make some announcement from time to time. Other alt are in the same case. they don't communicate on the development state of the project, but still, they make announcements about side partnerships, or are have at least press releases about them. There is no such thing for SDC.

Well, at least there are some movements on Github, which is a good sign!

Nonsense. The Shadow dev team, and marketing team has done a brilliant job of communicating, and letting everyone know what progress is being made, and what to expect when. Software development is never 100% predictable, so there is no point in making promises until something is completely ready. The quality of past releases should tell everyone to expect the best. It is far more disappointing when promises are made and not kept, so it is best to keep quiet until plans are set in concrete.

SDC Is not a darknet killer at all.. I have invested in SDC  and expect it to reach 4 or 5 dollars maybe more if we are lucky.

There market is not going to be a darknet market, The devs are not even anonymous and if they allowed drugs on there market they are on a one way ticket to life in prison, the main dev is on youtube so anyone who thinks there creating  a dark market really!?

Realistically the market will be small to start and hopefully grow organically like any new user base.

There are no expectations from the community to kill DNM. That's just crazy. That's like the 95%+ of coins out there trying to kill Bitcoin (which almost all think they will  ). It's not realistic. Shadow isn't trying to replace the DNM in as much as it's not trying to replace Bitcoin.

The market will offer new ways to do business around the world. But all the current ways will keep chugging along that's for sure. Hey, just today I used cash to buy coffee. And drew a picture with a pencil on paper. Those still work perfectly fine.

Just comes down to what do you want out of the tools at your disposal.

You might be misunderstanding the structure of the Shadow market. The devs do not "allow" anything on there. They write code. They release the code, and what we buy and sell there is what we buy and sell, they can't control any of it.

I'd add that the way a decentralized app works is that it's owned by the people. So you can't really shut it down unless you control the coin supply which is tied up in nodes at the moment. Roughly 45% or more staking and hardly any supply in the open market without raising the price to $100 or more.

You got my point. The goal is not specifically to build a DNM, but as the market is decentralized and owned by its users, in theory, anything could be sold on it.
