Also Id strongly recommend you all WITHDRAW your SDC from exchanges.
It is highly risky to keep your coins on exchanges for long periods of time. History has shown us this many many times already.
This! +1 Full Shadow ThinMode and Staking setup instructions here1. Close your Shadow Client 2. Open up a text editor (Sublime, TextWrangler) 3. Enter the following: thinmode=1 thinstake=1 thinfullindex=1 4. Save as shadowcoin.conf in your Shadow directory a. Windows i. C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\ShadowCoin (Vista and 7)
b. OSX i. ~/Library/Application Support/ShadowCoin/
c. Linux i. ~/.shadowcoin/
5. Reopen your client
Done! Your client should now be in “thin mode” and you can enjoy the benefits of a shorter sync time, while still securing the Shadow network.

30K sat support has been broken . big dump All that price speculation and hype thrown out the window! I think I suggested we stop talking about the price. It will take time for people to understand just how big this is. Anyone expecting an overnight jump of 1000% just isn't being realistic. The market cap has to grow. Also, HI WHEAT!!!

Even ignoring the benefits of strengthening the network, its hard for me to understand keeping much on the exchanges. This is a coin with the tech to potentially become the #2 coin in all of crypto behind BTC (and 1st for privacy). The number of real world applications for SDC are endless. Keep your SDC safe under your own control instead of letting them sit on an exchange! How many exchanges need to be hacked/shut down before people learn?

I would like to see new potential investors download the wallet and try it out! No need to buy anything right away. Here is a faucet for some free SDC to get you started: http://faucet.shadowcash.info/As you learn more, feel free to come back and ask questions. The public zero knowledge testnet is live and active (go to IRC to ask for help). The faucet only gives out small amounts of BTC. Its purpose is to spread adoption. If you already have SDC, please contribute to it instead of taking from it!

So is it true that there is a shadow marketplace coming? I have heard a few things here and there and wanted to know if its true Or just heresay/rumors Its certainly on the cards and would make a lot of sense but its a MASSIVE undertaking and its down the priority list thats for sure. Its certainly not something you will see before the end of the first quarter of 2016. But you just never know. We need a full zk release, voice file and video support, a code cleanup, an update to the mobile range, updated pos system ect ect the list goes on.

So is it true that there is a shadow marketplace coming? I have heard a few things here and there and wanted to know if its true There is a lot of talk in IRC on this subject. Yes, I believe it is coming and as stated in articles released prior it is clearly part of the overall strategy of Shadow. See http://www.deepdotweb.com/2014/10/24/anonymous-shadow-eclipses-privacy-projects-zero-knowledge/ To quote the article (published on October 24th) Shadow liked the DarkWallet concept, but wanted to make it better. Instead of building their wallet into a browser framework, they built a browser framework into their wallet. This is the first time that this type of framework has been layered client-side in a cryptocurrency. It gives the team more flexibility to build custom solutions like a digital distribution platform, something the team is already working on. Looking at this roadmap ( http://shadowtalk.org/topic/259/shadow-roadmap ) the update the ShadowChat is equally remarkable. Voice?! Files?! Wow! However. Was has been accomplished JUST NOW with ZK Anon I believe to be truly mind-blowing and a Milestone for Crypto-Currency.People are just waking up to this as I myself did only a few days ago. People will now bang on it, a whitepaper will be published and my expectation is that the product will be praised and admired. With this rock solid crypto at its core Shadow can now develop applications and services with an unprecedented level of anonymity as yet unexperienced in the post-Satoshi era. Just my two rynos* *the BTC satoshi unit equivalent for shadowcash?!

Put a multiplayer poker game in the wallet! That's got to be easier than video. It would require some security measures though to prevent cheat.

Yeah, great thing is there is a sdk (software development kit) to be released soon and really, anyone can make an app and leverage the network. I don't think piling apps all in the wallet is as good as an idea as having a ShadowStore (which will come) where you can snap in any app you want, app devs can showcase ect ect We just need to work out how to monetise node hosting and we are set. "we" being all of us These networks are so powerful if we can use them right, poker will be cool but i think we are setting our goals small if thats all we think its good for.

So is it true that there is a shadow marketplace coming? I have heard a few things here and there and wanted to know if its true Or just heresay/rumors The devs are busy with the zk update and improvements to Shadowcore, but that doesn't mean the community can't start contributing to decentralized marketplace development. Feel free to leave your feedback for the feature request here: http://shadowtalk.org/topic/268/shadybay-decentralized-shadowcash-marketplace-listings-and-exchangeIf the concept interests anyone in the community we should start a donation drive to get it done.

Hi all, new here, can't seem to find ShadowGo for iOS on app store? is it still there?
Hey, unfortunately it didn't get accepted to the app store (apparently Apple have particularly strict conditions for acceptance). This Wired story's about the only Bitcoin wallet they'd allowed (from June this year). I don't know if things have changed much from then, but I doubt it. There's a guide for installing it on jailbroken iOS phones on ShadowTalk: http://shadowtalk.org/topic/86/ios-shadowgo-installation-tutorialHopefully we'll have better luck if we re-apply when the mobile apps are updated.
