Just noticed that SDC is on one of my favorite Crypto Price tracking and Crypto/Money Management apps, FORTUNE. This app is a must have if your an IOS user and I'm excited to see that I can now use this app with Shadow. Here is the link to the apps site http://getfortuneapp.com/

Yeah, you saw now skip60,   we would skip all "anons" very fast   Grin
Moonday is near  Wink

i shared it because noone else shares such things, then they get disappear on irc

better dev team shares, it will be more formal

What I noticed, dev/team always waiting for the final product. It this case waiting for main/livenet
After that we will see all in the service of PR and Marketing.
And "fresh blood" know that for sure.

The question you always need to ask is: how are the devs going to make their money? The answer to every other question can be found within this one.

If the devs are the big holders, they have absolutely no interest in a sudden dump at this stage that trashes the price of their holdings. Same for any other big holder.

If the devs are not big holders, they're going to make their money by being devs: consulting, writing custom platforms that use the coin, etc. This will only have value if the coin is popularized through its features.

The interesting thing about the Shadowchat is that the big wallets have probably already communicated with one another, #1 says to #2 "Dude, who are you, and what are your plans?" They are the ones who have the responsibility for distribution, and with conservative, coordinated selling they can distribute the coin in such a way that its value increases faster than their wallets deplete. Everybody wins that way.

Very well stated, and aptly put.

We must stay calm.

Many investments such as apple took a long time before delivering media attention.

Take a look at this chart. Real innovation takes time but success is inevitable.

Great to see you here Robinson and welcome!
I saw on irc that the testnet is going smoothly. The SDC devs and community are very strong. This is a good opportunity to buy now.

Damn looking good! ^^

distribution happens through time,  BTC has terrible distribution if you look beyond total wallets.  Its almost as poorly distributed as fiat!   With very few large players controlling huge amounts.     In this new 'alt' market I don't think any coin can get past several hundred or even a thousand wallets without a incredible amount of effort.   With SDC,  the devs obviously don't care about promoting a coin that is not finished in they're eyes.   Sure many of us investors are always hoping we get more exposure, but really we are along for the ride doing what we can to promote the coin.

SDC will achieve really healthy distribution in time,  Every-time the price rises and then a early major holder sells a pile of coins the distribution improves.   Obviously with a few number of wallets, having a good stash of coins means that whomever owns those coins knows what they are doing and they are excited about the future of SDC.  Much more excited about SDC than any of the other new coins out there that could be stealing our marketcap.   So that says something.

Can somebody tell me why Shadow would need Ring Signature with ZeroKnowledge proof?
 Undecided
There'd be a bloat in the chain, no?

I'm confused, especially because they didn't talk about their "how to approach ZK" - I doubt the use Zerocash, I doubt they use Zerocoin, and maybe the coin later depends on decentralized servers relaying the transactions building the system on "fake" anonymity.

No coin ever really achieve true anonymity, I really doubt that  Shadow, Monero, Anoncoin, Dark and all the others are able to do this.

I've been here since 2013 and I only - repeat - ONLY experienced that Coins/Coindevs fuck with people, no matter how holy they might seem, no matter what they have achieved/coded in the past. - Be careful here - Don't go 100% into a Coin, diversify.

 Smiley

I mostly hear positive voices when it comes to anonymous coins, its very strange to me, because mostly every "anonymous" coin is not anonymous, and the many coins that claimed to be anonymous fucked people over.

This coin should be the first 100% anonymous in the world. Just wait for the whitepaper and you'll understand how big it is.

better u read the previous 10 pages, then do ur comment

this coin has nothing to do with the Zerocoin or what soever

just read, there are answers to all ur questions

when i read ur signature, u say: "Every Coin is a Shitcoin"... then there is no use of spending time to change ur mind

The snarks part will be used to fight blockchain bloat... They did tests and this is all in the plan, the bloat isn't of that overwhelming proportion for some time...so they have the time to finalize the snarks part

Actually having such an unfair distribution is good for short term price increases. If they have strong hands, and they dont sell its ok. It keeps coins off the market.

However, it can deter investors. And of course what kind of long term prospects can an investor have?
