I was bummed this weekend when I bought some at $5.58 only to watch it drop to 5.4xx. Looks like I have no reason to be sad now.

i guess this move has erased all theories about Pirate artificially maintaining a price zone around $5. Grin

either that or he's about to go BK.

remember how in the beginning of the year price was pushed from 7.2 back to $5 levels? it could happen again, given one has enough bitcoins to suppress demand

i'm seeing three possible scenarios how it can play out in the near future:

- slow steady growth
- bubble v2 due to regained media attention
- manipulation with huge walls - simple profit taking, rinse and repeat

any of them have equal chances of happening, and i wouldn't dismiss third option based on past history

probabilities are a tool to cope with lack of knowledge. In hindsight, only one possibility will have had a chance at all Wink. There has evidently been a past and there's probably a future.
