If Monero passes Dash in price, then the drinks are on me Dude hell yea. I hope it wasn't a joke because I'm going to remember this. If you are buying fluffypony's drinks, you are going to pay a pretty Moneroj. Beer for my boys, 30 year old aged whiskey for my pony. Oh yea, I'll just take a beer. Nothing fancy for me.

So we achieved this with a good technical community.

So let's make a new prediction: We'll break 0.0043 this year.
I think that understates just how undervalued XMR is, and just how powerful Monero's position is in regards to securing an increasingly invincible marketcap. A lot of cryptocurrency speculators are still very much naive in respect of Monero's extraordinary backstory, the cryptography, and the demonstrable power of it's industrial community. But there has been a shift - a tangible sense that we are now in a prime position to occupy a space than can only really be matched by Bitcoin itself. The recent StackExchange victory proves that whatever the size of one's marketcap, it is the power of community, the egalitarian nature of the genesis, and the skill of the underlying codebase which are the real qualities that will carry projects forward without decline. Resistance at the 0.004-0.005 level may well be inevitable, but the speed and ferocity at which it is finally broken shouldn't be of any objective surprise. Thus, I wouldn't be surprised if we were toying with 0.0160 by years end. Either way, Monero now only has to double in value for it to be one place behind Dash on the marketcap. Consequently, and in conjunction with a perceived "Monero vs ZCash" conversation that will make Dash increasingly irrelevant, speculative and community leakage will pour massively into the Monero ecosystem and the levees will break. Without knowing it, suddenly Monero has a marketcap in excess of $100 million. I still can't believe this actually came true. Hello! rangedriver, you know. Never wrong

Buy now, or wait for a seller @ .02 I posted this earlier, but it is relevant again. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.msg14180742#msg14180742I was going to up my margin long this morning, but the rates are going astronomical. Now I wish I had done it regardless.

Yea I'll be on the sloshing yacht. I love sailing yachts. Some of the coolest things money can buy. I have a very small one actually. Would very much like to be able to afford a nice one. And yea you are right. I stopped trying to penny pinch and just bought into the very thin liquidity on the sell side. You can see it reflected in the most recent candle.

So, here's a question...
While I don't like what BTC is or is becoming these days, I don't buy into the theory it is "dead". So, what happens to XMR when/if BTC decides to increase in price?
Will the XMR/BTC market readjust or will a 'rising tide raise all boats'?
Or will XMR bring new money into BTC, even?

all boats will rise, and XMR rise will bring more attention to BTC. I received a note from Kraken today, apologizing for the delay in answering my ticket. They are unusually busy. Why? BTC is boring, not attracting any interest of its own to incite the traffic. Curious.
