If you have been looking to sell I would appreciate it if you do it today.

I'm new to this "talking your book".  How did I do guys?

I just wanted to say that there is no need for anger or negative language here. Life is too short for that my fellow moneronauts and the trip to the moon will take too long to spend it selfishly. A pure heart is the most valuable asset one can own in this world - please be good gentlemen.

One of the reasons i follow this thread is because it sometime has some brilliant knowledge and ideas, sometimes good humor, that is if one can filter out all the besserwisser comments that perhaps serve no other purpose than to play with ones ego.

That is all.

Drug Trade on Darknet Tripled since the Silk Road Demise

https://darkwebnews.com/drugs/drug-trade-tippled-since-silkroad-demise/

Looks like Monero is entering in an ever increasing market.

Bullish.

When most of vendors and customers will use it - it can happen.

But it don't have to - look on bitcoin, since he's number one currency on darknet.

btw this news is 2 weeks old, while u write 'bullish', it's a kinda of manipulation

For me is total news. Maybe because i didn't bother with it in past. And yes if markets grow 3 times in last 3 years it is a positive news.

Endorsed.  If someone is able to troll you, get your goat, it is often best to click the "ignore" link.  You will enjoy a longer and more pleasant life. And so will I.

I did just the same yesterday, but your stampede may have caused half my orders not to get filled.

Can't believe I was buying to tell the truth.  Goes against my usual strategy.  I just think this time may be special.

It looks like the downward trend line from the 0.009364 XMR/XBT top may have been broken to the upside. If that is the case then the August 25th low of 0.006350 XMR/XBT could the the bottom of the correction. This is extremely close to a Fibonacci retracement to the 61.8% level using the May 2016 low of 0.001612 XMR/XBT as the base.

It quite possible we may not see a retest of the 0.0042 XMR/XBT to 0.0043 XMR/XBT area. I have been wrong before though.

Edit. The very old 2014 ATH of 0.01111 XMR/XBT area may prove to be interesting because it also coincides with the current market capitalization of Dash.

I think breaking the market cap of Dark coin will be a remarkable event. I hope it happens for ever and stays like that. That is the exact moment when we can finally proclaim the victory and become the best anon. coin.
It needs some strong support and I think Poloniex is possible to give it, just let's keep the market wet if there are some impatient people willing to sell their coins for cheap - they need the opportunity to do so.

The market cap has nothing to do with the level of privacy. If financial privacy (and fungibility) matter to you, you don't use a transparent blockchain.

The market cap of Dash can be relevant from a trading perspective because of the long history between Monero and Dash/Darkcoin and the emotions involved on both sides. Emotions can play a very significant part in trading regardless of the objectivity of those emotions.

I know I have asked a few times about a paper wallet but wanted to be absolutely sure.A paper wallet from moneroaddress is what I would be using for long term storage until there is a GUI.

The plan is:

Download the zipfile and be disconnected from the internet.

https://github.com/moneromooo-monero/monero-wallet-generator

Generate wallet.

Write down the mnemonic seed. Also, the public address, spend and view key.

Then just send from Poloniex and should be able to sleep better at night.

What if I just print them out, chances are small that it can get compromised from the printer? Its an Epson, 2-3 years old.

Also, monero being anonymous, I cant check my balance like with a bitcoin paper wallet. I know that you can check for any transactions to an address, but what site?

Sorry for being repetitive.

You can check that the balance was received by entering the tx id, view key, and the public address of your cold wallet here:

http://xmr.llcoins.net/checktx.html

Test it with a small amount and then verify it was received before you send the full amount.

I would probably be ok with printing on an older printer if it does not have wifi. Depends on your level of paranoia. When the day comes that you dispose of the printer take it apart and see if it has a HD in it, if so destroy it.

I was trolling in the trollbox last night (my nick there is HM_The_King).

One guy wrote: "Nobody cares what you think about XMR".

I felt good  Cool Seems that we have a new generation.

That means:

1. More new people...obviously

2. Higher prices...

3. More attention for monero
