Acceptance in AB

I did a little search for products that you can buy with MONERO and found a 28% to 56% acceptance depending on types of markets.

Just curious, could you tell us more about what kind of markets? It would really be interesting to get kind of a brief "report" on how adoption is going on DNM's

A quick search on AB shows: (I can't seem to figure out how to see how many vendors vs btc)

50 pages of 50 listings each (That's max shown) all accepting XMR. So, that's ... Quite a large number, IMO. The integration is there, it's on the front page etc etc... I think we have a winner here! Also, it looks like it's in use for all different kinds of products over there but I really didn't spend much time - not really my thing, but was too curious. Grin

Nice, but did you check and see if the majority of the vendors that were accepting XMR were offering discounts/more bang for your buck if people would pay in Monero?  Last time I heard a report on what was going on on AB or Oasis that's what the majority of vendors were doing.

No I did not dig into discounts..  I am kind of afraid of snooping into these markets.  All I did was a search for different items selecting the Monero option as currency and selecting the "Any Currency" option to obtain the results.

Since my search was for items, I dont know how many vendors are there and what percentage accept Monero.

I actually was not able to do a research on the exact number of merchants that are accepting monero because in the first place I am not a buyer of items online, however, I was really surprise about how abrupt the price of xmr have increase, my question is, what really takes place and is this for real?

OK. It is about time to take my play money off the sidelines and shovel it in. Can't win without trying. I like that the swing trading over the last couple weeks has been lucky enough for me to replace all the Bitcoin I used to invest in Monero for my crypto nest egg. But without risk there are not great rewards. Soon now we should see a pretty large move one way or the other in my humble opinion.

It was a day from hell so I decided to make myself feel better by buying more Monero.  Having no patience I used the easy method of ShapeShift.  Well I should have known better as the btc was sent to them but I did not receive the Monero.  I'm sure? this will work out by getting my btc back.

Well anyway free speech, its meaning, and purpose, are super interesting topics that I would love to talk about. But it just feels... wrong... here. That's why we should have an off topic thread.

I agree. If you open one, LMK! Have a good night, and to you nioc!

Thread made.

And my first comment is directed at you owl.

Anyone else get a weird message when they try to go to the thread?

Wtf? It really says that for you? For me it says "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."
