I'm sad because I needed to sell a huge part of my Monero to buy a car, but in other way I couldn't afford a brand new car at this moment.

HODLing the rest of Moneros as if they were gold Monero

So buy a cheap used beater car now, and a Lambo later.  Its not rocket surgery,  just vanity.  I guess it depends somewhat where you are, but 1-5 XMR should be enough to get something that will go from A to B and back for the next year.

Monero is keeping USD value, that is great. I wonder how it will behave when the crypto market starts to show wear out signs...

Is there anyone working full time as dev for monero? I Remember reading something about that, but have never read more. WHat would they do? Is there any project for a better mobile wallet that could be used for fast transactions?

What's the difference between Monero and Zcash?
The difference between driving a lambo down the coast highway and hanging yourself in a Bangkok jail cell.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give a man a Poisson distribution and he eats at random times independent of one another, at a constant known rate.

I like Monero very much, but i think that deep onion is probably a better investment at the moment because of its low market cap.

although i did not jet sold 1 xmr , it is kinda scarry to see how fast it goes down... i really believe it will go back up again but on the other hand , we can go a lot lower ... 1000 by the summer , i dont know in this sentiment if we will get there...

Don't know when the magical $1000 mark will come but nothing can escape the pull of BTC as it's going down.
Can the pros weigh in? Has XMR ever gained in a bear market?

Mainly it depends of how all crypto sphere will move.  If we will have Bitcoin at $5000 at summer would be quite stupid to expect Monero at $1000.  There is high possibility 2018 will be new 2014. And in general that would be most natural and most healthy. Because if 2018 would be just another 2017, then 2019 would be definitely an ARMAGEDON.
