Altcoins programming is a race between software engineers, who strive to produce idiot-proof programs, and the universe which strives to produce bigger idiots

Setbacks happen... they did with BTC... or LTC's initial distribution.. Syscoin has issues but being ripped off by some asshat for 750 BTC isn't one of them.... for me the only issue I am not 100 percent comfortable with is possible blockchain bloat with such fast blocks AND the coming marketplace... and other future features...
I would be more comfortable with a longer block time actually... like 3 minutes. It could extend the life of the coin... I would be more comfortable with less total coins
I would like to see consideration for an eventual change to pure POS down the road... perhaps like Bitbean and Orbitcoin AND CLAM does it... rewards are like blocks rather than based off of coins held...
For now, being a merge scrypt coin is great though.... the network is quite solid...
I think what the dev team is doing is pretty damn cool actually... at the risk of even more blockchain bloat, though, wouldn't it be cool to sell music ( mp3's ) on a BlockMarket?
This is quite an adventure... looking forward to the future...

Honestly if you're looking to invest in a pretty intriguing coin on the cheap side with huge potential to be big Syscoin is the deal. Sure it might take a while but man these devs keep putting work no matter what. They keep pushing forward even with setbacks. I bought 1 btc worth when the coin was 200 sat and I'm not even sweating because I know 100 sat is the bottom AND I KNOW THE COIN WILL INCREASE IN VALUE. I just wish I had more btc to invest more on Syscoin right now I'm here for the long run, I don't think of selling or wasting my Syscoin in a few years. That's how amazed I'm with this coin and dev team.

Mp3s are a good idea we need to somehow associate certs to offers so we can have digital diwnloads and comoete with app stores like google play.

That's how amazed I'm with this coin and dev team. my thoughts are the same, this is GREAT oportunity if you want to invest for long term, it is arround bottom for quite some time now and yet it has team of people working on it constantly, not full time ofc, it still has holders from 400sat and a good idea, that is enough for me to buy some, again

JAG! Shhhhh Syscoin great working now its highly progressive coins.... Thanks, hey- everyone knows what this team has been through (hell) and we're still here very much working hard to make SYS everything it has the potential to be. You see we have public decentralized markets working on the main chain and even more so on the testnetwork. Aliases are fully functional and make Syscoin one of the more approachable cryptos. Anyone on here posting "Syscoin is dead" needs to read the updates. If you have SYS and would like to divest yourself of the "dead" coin I'll happily buy it off you, pm me.
Again I posted a bit of an update on Slack as I know people are on the lookout for the blog post and the news rolling out today. Wanted to cross-post the update to keep people in the loop: For those waiting for the blog post and announcement just an update- is IS coming tonight (US/EST) we still need to talk with said partner before posting the news and its a crypto partner not like Amazon (not yet at least!) but still will add big value if we can get to where I'd like. Additionally, we do have a hard date for Beta3 which we'll share in the blog post. We have a new build to add to the roadmap - a 0.1.5.3 release which is a core platform update and will hardfork Syscoin improving the flexibility of the platform and getting rid of a lot of these "expires too fast" issues, and general confusion about the current implementation of service expiry. If you have PM'd me on BTC and I have not replied- I'll be replying today; my week has been terrible re: dayjob and I had to work most of yesterday [weekend] too which is abnormal so that's why I wasn't' around (sry!) Stay tuned! I'm excited to share what's coming with everyone! Please note the Slack notes from our team call which we usually make public every Sunday after the call are in private mode for the time being until after the blog post as it contains spoilers! So we'll include a link to it in the blog post so you can see the entirety of what we covered and even further insight into what's coming!

lol I bet you hold like 10,000 and trying to convince people with your cheap words to buy so you can exit with a 0.05$ profit. bravo. But the fact is, this will be a serious decentralized market and with some anonymity it can replace the silk road while providing ease of use.

Because, the price is cheap. If the DEVs come through what they say they are going to do there this is a good time to buy. That's all.

Have to correct you with a *when the DEVs come through madmartyk - you know it's in the bag . What will be interesting, is seeing how the blockmarket flourishes via independant developers on release and yes it's right when people say it can replace other things blockmarket is tangible.
