Quick heads up we have a team call that's going to delay things by a few hours. Still coming tonight just wanted to post since it should be rolling out now if we didn't have this call- sorry! Updates coming very soon!

Update (2:40pm PST): Team call just ended, working on getting stuff deployed.

I just bought some SYS for 2 BTC  Grin

Keep the good work guys.

Grin thanks we're still here working away! Some people were PM'ing me asking for nodes... we'll look at our seeder tomorrow it should negate the need for "addnode" but if you are having issues you can always visit the block explorer at: http://blockexperts.com/sys click the "peers" tab in the table below there, and then use the IP of the peers there and do "addnode [ip] add" via console or in your conf file "addnode=[ip]".

Workin workin workin

SnipSnoop got the windows installer auto-build complete so soon as we're ready the installer is waiting and ready for windows (and Mac needs no installer!). Sorry for the delays, sometimes doing it right take a lil longer.

We found an issue in late testing of beta3 tonight which raised some concerns with how it may (or may not) communicate and sync with beta2 clients/wallets- because of this we're going to take another 24hrs to investigate and resolve this issue, and ensure it will not surface itself in a production scenario.

Sorry for the delay, even though this is a beta we still want to do it right. Will have this updated and squared away tomorrow.

...I even had http://syscoin.market ready with the Beta3 client on the backend and web frontend before we uncovered the issue  Roll Eyes

These decentralized markets would change the free market, and I'm happy to see that Blockmarket is at a very advanced stage compared to others.

Thanks for helping out Smiley will def update OP asap and I've got the networking guys looking into our DNS seeder... You shouldn't even need to addnode like this. We'll have this resolved ASAP and will update OP with these nodes in the meantime.

Trying to tie off beta3 proper tonight. Coderboo, Sidhujag and I are going to review the commits and double triple check beta2 & beta3 clients playing nice with each other, then roll it out! It's likely something small, just gotta review since a lot changed (mostly aesthetically) between beta2->beta3.

Another update in a few hrs, we really don't stop.  Smiley

It seems all is well with the beta3 wallet after additional testing today! Expect public release tomorrow night USA/PST and updated Blockmarket web interfaces and updates.

Also we've rebooted the DNS seeder (syscoinseed.tk) so you should be able to sync without individual addnodes but they never hurt as a backup! More tomorrow!

Also don't burn out, a good dev team finishes a feature with enough energy and willpower to start freshly on the next one.
That requires vacations, going out, doing fun stuff with or without large quantities of alcohol.

is there a pool for mining syscoin? thanks

Pools:

Merge Mining Pools (Use these, normal pools will not have much hash any more)

Normal Pools (Note, these will likely not be the best way to mine Syscoin anymore. Use merge mining pools)

is it still worth it to mine sys? i only have 1 280x. or maybe i should just buy more?

also i saw that the normal pools doesnt have hashrate cant i just solo mine sys? or merged mining pools also mine sys?
