The 0.1.4 UPDATE HAS BEEN SLIGHTLY DELAYED AS WE WAIT FOR OUR NODES TO UPDATE. PLEASE STAND BY, WE ESTIMATE LESS THAN AN HOUR BEFORE BINARIES ARE PUBLIC
Nothing bad has happened, we're just waiting so that this is done proper. We will post the new binaries and let people know when "master" on github is ready to update from momentarily. Thanks for your patience.

Does all feel very slow atm - really hope this next release actually turns up and does what its advertised to do.
I wouldn't agree that it's slow. The coin is only two weeks old. |

Fuck I wish I knew what you were talking about. Thanks for the update. In short the supernode (aka DNS Seed) is what the wallet connects to first in order to find other nodes. This makes it so that you don't have to add nodes or mess with configuration files. It is critical that this supernode always be on the latest codebase or forks and failure-to-sync can occur. We are waiting for the supernode operator to return. If we do not have contact from them by 9pm EDT we will attempt a workaround. Will keep everyone updated. |

I'm not sure what everyone else thinks but why don't you wait until they're available before rolling it out? It's not urgent to upgrade asap is it?
Not at all urgent. I'm not wanting the wallet software early, just offering a replacement supernode if their current guy doesn't get back to them in time. |

The wallets in the pools are randomly crashing and corrupting the data, so that people with lots of megahash can lose a lot of coin. If they lose coin, they stop mining SYS, and that wouldn't be a good thing at all. It could snowball into a lot worse issues. The supernode, from the brief explanation here, seems like a really good idea as long as it has strong DDOS protection. |
