Update 9/1:

Syscoin v0.1.4c has been released addressing the wallet open/close issue. This is a non-mandatory update.

This fixes an issue some may encounter when reopening the wallet regarding a chain database error. Github master has been updated as well. Always backup your wallet.dat before upgrading your wallet.

Links on OP updated to reflect new download. Website will be updated shortly.

Am I crazy, or is the github master still at 0.1.4b?
https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin/blob/master/src/qt/forms/aboutdialog.ui#L38
Is there somewhere else in the code where the version number is 0.1.4c?

Edit: Nevermind, it looks like it just got updated.

You are right there was an issue with out github this morning we resolved ASAP. It is on the proper 0.1.4c release now and we've even published the release on github as we will also do moving forward.

We ran into some issues with github issues last night and are restoring those now!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Whats up with the price bros

Did we do the 250 BTC buy support yet?

I think we should just do that soon, so that people who complain about price can exit out and then we can focus on development.
you know they already put buy walls up..so why ask..and you seem to love etheruim what ever you call it.. you get what 1500 for 1 bitcoin WOW..hope that does well for you...we will see ..now that is risky if you ask me..not saying it wont do well ..but syscoin not dropped by half..and those who buy now they got a great deal....i hope and pray lol lol

Please just leave this thread. I did not bring up Ethereum at all, now you are attacking my sig. Did I invest in Ethereum? No. Do I love Ethereum? No. I hold no Ethereum at all.

I just wanted to bring that up in my sig so that the Bitcoin price will get lower and I will get cheaper Bitcoins.

Respect other peoples decisions and do not make judgement on it. Your assumptions are invalid and your comments are generic and don't provide any value. Cryptocurrency is inherently risky.

The thread got too big so I don't follow in detail. I don't know if the buy support happened or not. It's a simple question, no need to get all defensive and attack my sig. I'll report you next time if you continue to talk in this manner.
ha ha.. me go you need to go . why you put up in red writing etherum and i just checked your threads.. you post..not 1 word have you said anything good about syscoin..your asking for buy walls to bail.  plus you want to make 10 fold and bail ha ha  ...please devs delete his comments and mine thanks..go back to korea..kim un jong waitin for you

Not quite sure what manbot is flying off the handle for here lolol!
Apparantly there was buy support early on - but honestly i failed to see it. Not sure when or where it went on as there was literally no more than 20 BTC of trades being done on Bittrex and no more than 10 BTC on cryptsy per day/avg for the first few days - they must have been the only ones buying or laid it all down from the moment it first hit the exchanges.

i think you don,t know what your talking about..the buy support was put up over 7 days ago..for people who wanted to bail..so why would they do it now ..and if you think their trying to buy them at cheaper price then why not let it fall to 100sats  then buy it all...the devs or moolah are NOT PUTING UP ANY BUY WALLS GOT IT  so why ask...now do you get me

Not sure why you think you deserve an appology?

I simply stated that i never saw any buy support and ive been following it actively since the 2nd day of launch - not once have i seen a buy wall of even 1 BTC at a single price point on any of the exchanges. Maybe i missed it, maybe i wasnt looking hard enough, maybe it never happened, maybe its slowly still going on -  i dont know, i was merely commenting on @koreans question.

So what if he wants to bail ?

There were 50BTC buy walls when the coin was released.  They were eaten away quickly from investors wanting to dump!  Go back to the other thread, you will see.  Personally, I didn't invest a dime in the ICO, but I have been mining and the SYS community has gotten behind the charity I'm working with.

I do think the whole SYS framework is a great idea, and the DEVs are still owed a lot of BTC.  I think that is incentive enough to know they are not going to jump ship.  If I had a half million dollar payday waiting, you can bet your sweet ass I would be working my tail off to get it right!!

The BUY wall story is getting boring. I mean really boring. Devs agreed to defend the pre sale price, before the coin was launched. The walls were there and were filled due to unfortunate start of this coin. That story is over, coin lost a lot of its pre sale price, but that doesnt mean it will not hit it again. Sell pressure is lowering each day, and when marketing kicks in the price will recover. The value of this coin will be recognized by people sooner or later. I see this price range as buy oppurtunity.  I have confidence in devs because they have proven themselves honest in multiple ocassions. They may not have experience, but they will gain as time passes...

The best way to pull this coin out of the price crapper is on the DEVs right now.  Soon as working features are delivered the price will follow.  Remember, not only is the price of SYS down, BTC is also down, as well as most of the ALTs...

SORRY my friend just some people know quite well whats gone on and they still going on about same thing the PRICE the BUY WALLS.. but some are crafty the way they say things..you know a polite way to spread fud  korea 1 of them...see i check your past threads and if you never got a good word to say about the crypto you own ..or go around spreading fud on other threads .well that means your fudder.and fudders have all sort of reasons why they spread fud ..and 2 of them reasons.. is for them self or to destroy a cryptocurrency....

I'm still having issues with the Mac Wallet and database chain error when opening.  Was the Mac wallet recompiled with the update? Thanks!

All working now.  I evidently didn't have libboost installed so it would cause it to crash upon opening every single time.

If we can get some merchant to accept this coin, price will go up soon.

yes, I hope moolah.io can introduce syscoin to their merchant systems, that will be very helpful to Syscoin in the future.

Despite promises, this coin does not differ from any copy paste crap coins out there, and does not matter if its "yet". I did not expected miracles when invewsting in IPO, so I am not dissapointed, just hope no one loses much of his savings.
