SYSCOIN in Business Insider article

This article talks about the benefits of BTC and that the bank of England thinks it could be huge. The real interesting part is towards the end of the article where it mentions syscoin technology. Too bad they couldn't mention syscoin by name.

Quote
But the exciting part of this is that this technology could have implications far beyond payment systems alone. The Bank provides some fascinating hints for just how wide the applications of this could be (emphasis mine):

The majority of financial assets — such as loans, bonds, stocks and derivatives — now exist only in electronic form, meaning that the financial system itself is already simply a set of digital records ... This development could allow any type of financial asset, for example shares in a company, to be recorded on a distributed ledger.

Bitcoin may only be temporary phenomenon but the technology that underpins it may soon become ubiquitous. According to the Bank, it could mark "a first attempt at an 'internet of finance.'"

I see that Syscoin has been added to the Allcoin exchange. BUT I have a question. It has always been suggested that you use markets that have the https security. Allcoin does not have this. Would you consider this a secure sight to do trading? Also BTC38 does not have the security feature either. Isn't this something we should be careful of?

Maybe this is too much to ask right now with developers so busy, but wondering if could get some explanation as how this coin compares to NXT coin. Is there similarity, improvements, or are they very different coins.

Wondering mostly since NXT is really lot of talk right now, as seems syscoin heard can do much more than is offered from NXT.

Me neither, as the devs are getting closer to releasing the proper user interface for all the exciting SYS features.
Probably it was someone that needed the money out, so he sold (at a loss). At Mintpal it was one dump, at Allcoin
there was a series of smaller sales, each progressively lower. I am still holding, even considering buying more at
these low prices...

I can explain that, because I did it several times. For example you sell at 400 on a loss, invest in other coin, get 2x profit from it, rebuy Sys at 350. Now people are selling at 200, investing in other coins and planning to rebuy at 100.

Yeah we can't explain the price movements but that has zero impact on our plans / work unless we get strong signals from the community the work is going the wrong way. We're still working hard here, promo #1 just started with a wide variety of partners, getting a blog post together on it right now. There is so much going on internally, its disappointing to see price dropping but those who have some vision and patience here will do very well.
