Who are dumping SYS in this very low price, I really can't understand why.
Me neither, as the devs are getting closer to releasing the proper user interface for all the exciting SYS features.
Probably it was someone that needed the money out, so he sold (at a loss). At Mintpal it was one dump, at Allcoin
there was a series of smaller sales, each progressively lower. I am still holding, even considering buying more at
these low prices...

Yeah we can't explain the price movements but that has zero impact on our plans / work unless we get strong signals from the community the work is going the wrong way. We're still working hard here, promo #1 just started with a wide variety of partners, getting a blog post together on it right now. There is so much going on internally, its disappointing to see price dropping but those who have some vision and patience here will do very well.

probably miners cashing in if i could guess

i don't mean to be negative but why is there so many coins... 2billion total at the end of the day

i just wanna know the reason for having such a large supply

Please look at the mining schedule, your children's children will have children before it get's to 2 billion..
Now flow three hundred million, but the price will only make the miners at a loss

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

The list of buy orders is shrinking on bittrex. It's now significantly shorter than the sell order list.
Currently, there are less than 6btc in buy orders left:
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-SYS
The botched launch seems to have permanently tainted the market's valuation of this management team.
They keep deleting my posts, but that doesnt change the reality of what happened, what is happening and what's needed to fix it.

A simple fix to this common question would be to have a block schedule with estimated days in the OP

similar to dogecoin's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogecoin#Block_schedule

Not only botched launch but also overeager censorship destroyed this coin. You may be deleting posts that you consider FUD (it is your right to do so) but the community thinks otherwise and tends to remember what was in those posts anyway and deleting just looks bad. It seems to be the only coin to censor it's thread that eagerly.

I can explain that, because I did it several times. For example you sell at 400 on a loss, invest in other coin, get 2x profit from it, rebuy Sys at 350. Now people are selling at 200, investing in other coins and planning to rebuy at 100.

Yeah right!! may work once or twice but is an unworkeable trading model!! good luck with that!! Smiley

Sorry if this has been already dealt with. What are the plans for the premine and how will it be dealt with. 59.5 million is quite a chunk of the 369 million coins in existance!!

I know what I did and I knew that it probably would get removed. Those things happen all the time in crypto but other coin's devs don't remove them. It is your choice to do so, but my guess it's not the way to do crypto and most people seem to think alike. I understand that this is agains your vision of this thread, but crypto has it's rules and it would be damn hard to change them. Your intentions might be noble but newcommers consider such actions fishy.

Good question and I don't have a full answer at the moment other than a clarification- 40mil is being held for devs and that is going nowhere for at least the next 3months as we get things figured out. I recently moved that into its own wallet. The other 1% or 20mil (what remains of it) is for bounties and that has been moved to its own wallet as well, from which bounty payouts are made. So 40mil won't be going anywhere for quite some time, and the other 20mil are being used slowly for bounties. Most of the 20million still remain as we've switched to trying to pay out in BTC to prevent dumping of SYS when collecting bounties.

We will get a concrete and clear plan in place around the 40mil- but for now its just staying on ice for 3months as we focus on larger priorities.

Dev 2% wallet : http://blockexperts.com/sys/address/SanUQMNa443gcrix4cfNLa1U2qraWnib58
Bounties 1% : http://blockexperts.com/sys/address/SQPPhMYzdhYiuJJQMDEQ7UULD7qb7JumWs

You cant have a go at them for removing a post which is clearly irrelevant and there just to promote another coin!!   4 fucks sake!

Thank you! We have really backed off deleting things aside from promotions for other coins, lies, or repetition from the same user page after page. Everything else we've left alone.

Either way, it's irrelevant to this thread, we want people that read our thread to read about Syscoin and not your ventures at selling another coin, you can however start your own thread about that.

The botched launch seems to have permanently tainted the market's valuation of this management team.

None of my posts has been deleted from the very beginning.
