The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

At this point I'm sure no investors would object to the dev team getting the money in full. Fingers crossed.

Dany: I'm just wondering, do you think about set up some big wall f.e. on 350 satoshi and if some big investors would like to go... they can... than continou on your work and after release 1.6 or 1.7 create new IPO (higher price, f.e. 1500 satoshi)? You will have millions sys from moolah from 250 BTC wall, am i right? So... next ipo (~like nxt) will be opportunity for new instestors and that could give you much more BTC for development....

Wow, big screw up by Moolah.

Does anyone know how much of the syscoin ipo funds Moolah was sitting on?

edit: 1500 BTC was the total IPO, but a part has been received right?

Part has been received yes, but an outstanding amount is still to come. Full details are here, http://syscoin.org/download-syscoin-v0-1-5-rc3public-beta-3-and-moolah-presale-funding-update/

"MOOLAH PRESALE FUNDING UPDATE

There have been a number of questions swirling about regarding Moolah, our escrow provider, who recently made this announcement. They still hold a majority (67%) of the 1500btc raised during the Syscoin presale. In light of recent information we are working with our escrow provider for a full release of the funds so that we can continue Syscoin development as planned.

We are working as fast as possible to find a resolution to this situation which impacts both the team and investors. Regardless of the situation with Moolah the Syscoin team remains committed to developing and advancing the features and growth of Syscoin. Read some posts on our blog or look at the features present in RC3 or the roadmap. We’re here for the long term and we appreciate the support the community has shown us."

Moolah Keypair Issue!

So, I downloaded about 1/4 of the $SYS I bought in the presale, leaving 3/4 on Keypair.

As news of Moolah's demise hit this morning I downloaded around up to a total of 1/3 and then when I tried again with the next private key, I started getting the error below:

08:58:52
importprivkey *!%$£&%££@@^(*&&^^^

08:58:53
Error adding key to wallet (code -4)

I've got 10 outstanding private keys in total and all of them give the same result. I'm also using the newest wallet.

It looks like Moolah may have turned off the tap Sad

Tony is you wallet locked? If so please unlock it before running importprivkey (using console/walletpassphrase)

It's not locked. As I mentioned I was going through the process of importing the keys successfully earlier this morning using exactly the same procedure and then the errors just started.

Sounds very strange. Sure lets jump in PM and we can try and figure out what is going on.
EDIT.. Looks like it could be the multiple emails moolah sent out at launch. Already used etc..

Looks like you might be right. I got 15 emails from them, all with Keypairs. I'll go through each one and cross check the key pairs. Been so long can't remember what the total SYS figure was.

I've been very supportive of Moolah in this thread, but if they (he) mess this up I won't have words to express how pissed I am. Escrow means funds are kept safe and untouched until release criteria are met, so there really shouldn't be a problem right....?

They shouldn't have been able to touch the escrowed funds, they weren't for them to use they were just for them to hold. They should all be there, and if they aren't then I think legal recourse would be more than appropriate.

sadly i believe since funds were in moolah they are lost. they only speak some stuff about "clients funds" while this was business partnership. also i even doubt clients will get anything back.
didnt hear anything from Dan so far so im just "guessing" based on what i read online here and there.

if moolah that was supossed to bring SYS to the tops will actually be its biggest enemy.. this will totally blow.

i have a LARGE portios of SYS since ICO, been holding and not selling.
