The Android and airdrop will only start until June 2015!!!!!

That's almost a definite fail, by then you might have 5 other coins doing the same as this. Plenty of time for people to get negative about this coin and dump. Silly.

it's a conservative tentative date.
Please read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=758004.msg9686204#msg9686204

The price may recover later but after 1-2 months any IPO has crashed in price. Unless this changes a seriously strong trend.

If you check "legitimate" coins with active development teams (there aren't many) you will actually be surprised with the statistics.

Like Crypti and Craigs?  Even Maidsafe went below IPO prices and took like half a year to recover, so no idea what you're sprouting on about.  Almost every IPO coin falls below its' launch day price.

the pre-sale is really going well  Grin congrats

My thoughts exactly..

Developers have been buying into their own IPOs and getting free coins for ages.

Happy to say we've had over 450 new wallet signups on Koinify; along with around 150 unique transactions so far for Gems.

Thats true , BUT from what i understood Gems has an anti-dump incentive.

The more you hold the more you receive from the daily airdrop ( 30M coin which is  a lot).

So you can expect very few coins being dumped since people will be gathering them and will be holding them to have a bigger daily share from the GEMS app.

Very few coins have this kind of incentive and i believe it will have an instant reaction on the market instead of going down, the price could even skyrocket.

Aniway 1.2M market caps (MAX marketcap) is not much IMO for such a great concept.

I think gems is different than all the other cryptos which are very complicated to use, this tech is the most simple way of using crypto and might be the killer app to get mainstream. It doesn't aim just bitcointalk users like 90% of coins here who never see the COMMON person with no crypto background use it. With gems i can get my friends to use crypto so damn easy and if their friend use it, it can spread pretty fast. You don't even need an address or qr code to make transactions. It really is the next innovation in social networking. A simple app like whatsapp is worth 4x more than bitcoins market cap. Apart from the techs, gems it is backed by bitcoin and has a serious team behind it.

make 99.9% out of it. Second app after changetip which has that potential.

I just checked nxtty and didn't expect it to be this bad, nxtty coins are just shares you buy from a 'virtual nxt company' and hold where you get some kind of interest. it's just a pos coin + a poor messaging app with a bubbel game in it making it look cheap, you cant make transactions from the app either. Not even slightly comparable to gems

How does the process of buying on Dec 1st go?

you will sign up with konify and simply buy the gems. Its very intuitiv and fast. Your gems will be stored in mulitsig with konify and released unitil the pre-sale is over. It will start in 15 hours. Inviters bought 8% of the presale up to now. Very impressive. Early inviters were the subscribers of the newsletters. Great project, looked for something like this. The most important factors for success are a fast deployment of the apps and extending of marketing to non-crypto folks.

what a joke Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

central server for messaging functionality?Huh you call it based on bitcoin blockchain?

it seems you want most chinese buyers drown in bags.

Why don't you ask them to use their own shitty censored QQ?

confirmed:  Chinese Mastermined this beautifully packed scheme.

Koinify is a Chinese-backed company. Deliver your products then Ask for money, but we don't need a lame centralized messaging app.

Gems registration process in action

Everything looks cool but there is a part of me that feels that the use of Snowden and Satoshi's names in the demo comes across as an arrogant presumption on their endorsement...which is non existent at this point.  They're real people and neither have said anything one way or the other regarding this project.

It should be reconsidered in my opinion.
