So now on top of their utter incompetence and failure, one of two scenarios is happening...

One, either they have sold your email to a third party company, which they probably made a lot of money on as a targeted list of emails associated with people who they know have purchased bitcoin miners, will be pretty expensive.
Or
Two, they have spent the last couple of months developing a mew company/brand as anything that has to do with BA is synonymous with fail and utter incompetence.  They have developed slightly different looking cases and are trying to sell products with the same specs as the X-3 to you.

Either way, Bobsag you need to confirm as to whether email addresses from purchases through you have been given to BA?

Nope.
Then how come I received an email from black arrow not too long ago about a production update? I never ordered from black arrow. And plus, this was after I had already received my refund and settled my situation. Is it possible that they simply sent that one email to everyone who had registered on ecointalk.net?

And since you choose to delete my older posts, I will keep posting them as well. Like I said, keep deleting my posts; I'll keep reposting them and they get more exposure. It's not hard for me to copy and paste.

@terrapinflyer
I think you got singled out by BA because your negative trust feedback actually has teeth since you're on the default trust list, thus giving BA that red text under their name. I feel like you should check your legal options and perhaps get a subpeona from a court to force bitcointalk to remove your private information in your trust feedback.

Nice to see others get treated better by Minersource. When I requested my $4800 refund, Dan Murtha told me no and only gave me $3600. When I requested replacement hardware, Dan Murtha told me no, they can't offer replacement hardware. When I posted about my displeasure on the forum, Dan Murtha said I flame and threaten them and don't want anymore of my business. And now, they're giving people USD valued refunds (refused to honor for me) and giving store credit/replacement hardware (also refused to honor for me). So forgive me, Dan Murtha, if I "flame" you for treating me worse than your other customers. Minersource will forever be on my shit list until they right the wrong they did towards me.
See update.

Well you always see it with these type of people.  They have some complex about them, and when they fail, they can't admit they are worthless and instead must fight, tooth and nail, to the very end.  Which in BA's case will be a fiery hellstorm either brought upon by their worthless miners catching fire or court action.

David, reposting screenshots is bad forum edicate, and makes you seem like an asshole for making people scroll (not that you need anymore help).  And I would never post any details of orders I have through you guys.  Although it is funny that I am currently providing more support for your fire hazard products than your company is.  Care to continue to troll?

Hey, btw, I will bet you any number of bitcoin that you want, that you will neither have a scrypt chip within specs by the end of this year, and that you will have a working 14 nm chip by the end of Q2 next year.

I am sure they didn't send a cord with the unit, as they are scum bags and even though they said they would try their best, they just decided to say fuck it and proceed without even trying.

As for the 15 amp cord, that is more than enough to handle the load the X-3 should be using.  So the problem then either lies in the PSU or the data center cabling.  Unfortunately, since they are scum bags yet again and have yet to release any way to hook up a standard ATX PSU, like they said they would, trying a different PSU is currently not possible.  I also highly doubt it has anything to do with the data center wiring.

Where to go from here, unfortunately I can't think of really any move forward.  It doesn't seem like BA has any interest in helping their customers figure this out, and even if they did, their level of incompetence would likely require at least 2 weeks to find a solution, then who knows how long to implement it.  The issue definitely seems to be within the unit, but without hooking up a kill-o-watt meter, it could be any number of things in the actual unit that is causing this.

Perhaps you could pressure BA really hard to send you another power supply to swap out?  Swap the new one in, and try it again.

HAHA they blocked my IP address, and now when I try to go to their website, I get a page that says...
"Asshole Detected!"

They actually took the time to create a webpage that directs certain blocked people to that calls them assholes.  This has reached a new level of funny, I will definitely be TOR'ing around this in about 2 seconds and defaming/spamming their emails once again.

Depends on what power cord he was using?  Has he stated what it was rated for?  The X3 should not use a power cord that is less than 15A 120V for Merican circuits.

Well well well...absolutely no surprise there BA.  You guys are the biggest scam artists of them all, hope you had fun mining with people's orders, and are just now planning to send them out, while offering people shit comp.  Always remember karma is a bitch as you will never receive another dollar from any one of your customers that have previously ordered from you, oh wait, yes you will, because they need PSU's for your shitty product since you didn't announce how to hook them up with ATX PSU's.  SURPRISE!

There is no way they will provide any more compensation.  They obviously have more time as they are deleting posts now and banning people from their website, yet they still can't ship squat.  So yet another fail by this company.  People are being too compliant with what they are getting, why would they give anything else?  They can continue to run it all in their datacenter and make tons of money off of everyone who paid for that equipment.

February 24th is less than 6 months away and I'm starting to lose faith that BA will be able to deliver on time. On eCoin Talk Nemisis has mislead customers by making ridiculous statements like that BA would deliver before 2015.

Black Arrow - Why don't you stop deleting posts and spend that time digging out the keys that will allow you to refund everyone who paid in BTC at least. You've proven that you're totally incompetent at every stage. Even if you don't have the $ that were paid, we can all see you've got the BTC still sat in the payment addresses. Stop sitting on these and return them before you kill someone with your poor quality equipment. You're hedging your bets and not cashing these out yet hoping the value will rise no-doubt, this makes me wonder if you've even declared them as income for tax purposes, care to clarify?

You do realise that even if you go bankrupt, you wont be able to sneak this BTC out of the backdoor personally, as we're all watching, right?

I think it's time to create an app.

Plug in BA's wallet address into the system, and no matter how many times it's moved, the app will signal to the potential buyer that the BTCs stemmed from BA.

The same idea applies to the hundreds of other rouge wallet addresses abound.

Try doing that with a serial number off a hundred bill.

Today's incendiary update:

from ecointalk

http://ecointalk.net/topic/1381-1-x3-unit-overheated-and-one-x1-exploded/

"1 X3 Unit overheated, and one X1 exploded!

So i received my order on Thursday (1 X3 and 2 X1's). Started setting them up yesterday. One X3 unit has been working flawlessly, running stable and seems cool enough.  The other X3 unit, seems to be drawing way to much power.  If i ran it on a circuit that had "anything" else running (>100 Watts), it would throw the breaker for that circuit.  So I ran it on a circuit with nothing else.  After about 10 mins i noticed the room getting really warm. The X3 unit was really, really hot to the touch all over the outer casing. I am pretty sure some sort of failure was imminent, so i have had to turn that off.  (also turned the other one off, due to the fire risk)

The x1's had a similar story. I set one up, and that has been running perfectly. The others power-supply exploded as soon as it was plugged in, lots of sparks and smoke!

Awesome!"

This guy is reporting a similar problem, in that one of his X-3 units is pulling too much power.

Pull the caps out, that'll fix it.

These people have absolutely no idea what they are doing.

BA keep pruning this topic, keeping it hovering at the 419 pages mark. Are they trying to tell us something?

from the quality of their products I would assume they are 420 friendly.
