Why do people hate islam?

Its simple.
Because most terrorists are Muslim, and they like to suicide and bring others people with them.

I am living in Muslim majority country where we as a Christian still can practice our religion freely. Recently, the muslim becomes more extreme. They'd banned certain phrase and words from the Bible because they afraid their people will convert to Christianity.
So, thats mean the Muslim doesn't even have faith in their religion.

And i if i may, why you hate the Jews so much?

Religion is not what is written in a dusty old book... religion is what the self-identifying followers of that religion do. Actions speak far louder than words.

What percentage of terrorist act were perpetrated by Muslims, Christians etc?  When Muslim are living in a country where they are the minority, they are very active about minority rights. But when Islam is the ruling religion in one country, there is no such thing as minority rights.

Exactly. Its very true. When the Muslims are the minority they will expect to be treated equal like the majority. But if they are the dominant/majority, they will push back the minority like in my country. The Muslims will even demonstrated if the Christian build a new church. They even threw Molotov cocktail to any churches. We the Christian will always being treated the same like Western/Jews.

So they will say that the American is fool not to let Muslims build a mosques nearby the ground zero?

And for the Palestinian, please stop to make the Jerusalem yours. You have you Mecca and Medina. Don't be greedy.

It's the extremists who misinterpret the teachings of the Qu'ran that give Islam a bad name.

In all honesty tho, i think the bigest massacres in history have been commited ''in the name of religion'' (think Crusades, Al Qaeda and ISIS terrorist acts etc.).

Religion is about loving you and the people around you, no matter the shape, colour, gender or whatever. Unfortunatelly poor/no education leads to huge disasters. Religious education should go hand in hand with regular, scientific education.

Will Muslim spokesmen in the West denounce this call as un-Islamic, or remain silent about it? I'm betting the latter, in light of passages like these that make it clear that al-Qadi is speaking in complete accord with the Qur'an and Islamic law:

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day, and do not forbidden what has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and do not acknowledge the religion of Truth, even if they are of the People of the Book, until they pay the jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued" (Qur'an 9:29).

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying:

"Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war…When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them…. If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them." (Sahih Muslim 4294).

To me God is one for all, no matter how you call him. I am not Muslim or a Christian but. I don't hate anyone because i know that GOD is LOVE.

In any religion, it is never advisable to hate different religions with which we own cherished beliefs. If everyone understand who GOD is nobody will talk about hatred.

What kind of religion was Harry Truman? Destroy two cities together with peaceful people, only for the sake of intimidating the enemy ... Not only an explicit, but also an expected enemy ... By all definitions this is the most terrible form of terrorism.

It is not a "few" strings. There are more than 100 verses in the Quran (and even more in the hadiths), which urge the believers to wage holy war against the non-believers. And as far as I know, none of the Islamic scholars have said anything against these verses.

try to watch Religulous (2008) by Bill Maher. He does have an interview with all religious leaders, one of which is muslim/islam. You will understand why a lot of people hates muslims.

they hate Islam because Islam makes them afraid .. actually the teachings of Islam is easy to understand, islam radicalism is what they really fear and hate it. the teachings of Islam is actually peaceful and soothing to our heart, Islam teaches us a lot about life. why shouldhate Islam?not Islam that must be hated but their individual and greed to be hated, in the name of Islam. not Islam that must be hated .
