Hello,

I installed the folding@home application.

Now i am folding and getting points for that.
What can i do with the points?
The points do nothing more then tally up, its the FLDC you receive in which you can use as a form of exchange. We have 3 use cases for FLDC coming up this year, the most exciting is a ebay style marketplace in which we will exclusively accept FLDC for the transaction fees. Did that answer your question?

Thanks for folding with us Cheesy

i can"t see FLDC in my counterpartywallet.
It takes a while before you earning foldingcoins?

we are finishing up the distributions from yesterday still (the end of each month has many distributions from merged folding partners) and we will be distributing FLDC for yesterdays work shortly Smiley

Counterparty 101 - #7 DEX Counterwallet Exchange

Robert has made another video about the way the Counterwallet works.

Learn about the built in DEX (decentralized exchange) that Counterwallet automatically has built in,
so you can begin trading assets for assets immediately without the need of a third party exchange to hold your funds.

delist warning in bittrex

We mailed them about it and hope they can postpone it. I think it is an automatic thing they do with a bunch of coins. Most trading is at Poloniex at the moment, since that has been an early supporter of Counterparty tokens. If Bittrex wants to also be a player in this part of the market, they should probably be more patient.

Well said Jones, they are not marketing XCP that much on their end as Poloniex is.

Salim perfect comment Cheesy If you havent heard also, we have launched the website https://xcpassets.org/ which allows you to see all developed tokens, projects, and news going on in the Counterparty space. Check it out and give FLDC an upvote!

Until this asset finds a way to differentiate itself from the other bunch of sh*t coins, it's just another sh*tcoin.

Market the coin, promote the coin, make the coin known for a reason - This coin is working to cure cancer! Until there is interest generated in the coin, the only people interested, or aware of, in it is the miners.

I couldn't agree more, Chad one of of devs has been working hard on developing the marketplace and we should have a Beta sometime soon ready for the public. No dates yet, but everything is looking good Cheesy

i hate this coin
could probably use the GPUs to mine something more profitable/innovative (or right now with less loss, or with high volume market)
but i feel too morally obligated to move my rig away from f@h

We're working on big projects to grow the market value of the coin and spur innovation.  Don't hate. :-)

lol, well let me help reassure you for being an early adopter:

The marketplace is coming along and once released, we will only accept FLDC as transaction fees to help drive the adoption of FLDC. The big problem we had early on was that we just kind of released FLDC without plans of future funding in the beginning. Due to the popularity and support from the community, this year we have been developing FLDC into something more then just a fun hobby coin that me and james started. Good things take time Smiley

I think we will re interest the community in the next coupe of weeks. I really think that releasing this Marketplace that Chad has been working really hard on is the key to getting people once again involved in this coin. When we release this marketplace we will be doing our best to market out the site to the best of our abilities. Just keep spreading the word, we will get there Cheesy

Over the last couple of months we have tried to improve the communication with the foldingcoin community by replying quickly to questions, making tutorial videos, going to meetups and having monthly meetings.

Do you have any suggestions on how you would like us to further improve the transparency toward the community?
