If i were to empty the bitcoin from my counterwallet would i lose all my FLDC and assets? Are the bitcoins in counterparty adresses tied to assets in any way eg. X amount of BTC equals X amount of FLDC

Absolutely not, your FLDC would still be there However, if you empty all your BTC you will not be able to move your FLDC without having a small amount of BTC. It currently takes 0.000178 BTC to move any counterparty asset using counterwallet, but this should be lowered over time with new counterparty applications that folks can build

I dont think anyone can send to the counterparty burn address, that might be disabled by default. However someone could create another burn address that you would be able to send your XCP assets to, but i am not exactly sure how to generate one. I am looking into how you could create one and so far i have only found this open source code:

FoldingCoin Market BETA ready!
The FoldingCoin Market has finally launched!

Right now, the Marketplace only has the following services:
1. Connects to any existing Swapbot and Tend Machines
2. Single purchase only, no shopping carts (all purchases bring you to a new tab)
3. Shipping is included in the cost of every item
4. Only select Vendors can sell items here currently
5. Shipping of merchandise can take up to 2 weeks

For the future, we have the following roadmap:

Marketplace v1.0 (Doable with code that already exists, just need to implement it)
6. Fix the “Vendor Product” listing (currently when you click a vendor page it brings you to the main shop page)
7. Allow anyone to post items on the marketplace so long as they have purchased their FLDC Vendor license. The user will still receive their FLDCVENDOR token, but until v2.0 their wordpress username will be tied to 8. being a vendor, not the token itself
9. Product Review
10. Product stock tracking
11. Ability to search items based on accepted currencies
12. Private Messaging between vendor and buyer
13. chat room for all users online
14. Pay to have your item as a “featured item” that will appear in one of three slots on every webpage in the upper right corner (we will feature a max of 25 items at any given time, and the website randomly selects three each time someone views a page)

Marketplace v2.0 (Requires code that doesn’t exist)
15. Integrate Tokenly with woocommerce to allow shopping cart so each item is not purchased individually
16. Allow multi-vendor item purchases and adjust shipping cost accordingly so that shipping no longer must be included in the products pricing
17. Allow for international shipping
18. Enable auction ability for items using the future LTB auction system integrating the auction live on the site. This would require if someone “Bought now” that funds get returned to original senders and the auction will automatically close
19. Create an “Arbiter” system in which folks can help facilitate transactions for us
