Just FYI, the hardfork to 2.1.6 is likely to occur in the next day or so.

I had a similar issue to you but managed to get 2.1.6 working by doing the following:

  • Copy entire contents of AppData/Roaming/SolarCoin to Desktop for use as backup
  • Uninstall SolarCoin application
  • Delete contents of AppData/Roaming/SolarCoin except wallet.dat
  • Download and install SolarCoin version 2.1.6
  • Open SolarCoin wallet to ensure wallet.dat loads as expected
  • Close SolarCoin wallet when it starts to update the blockchain
  • Copy blk0001.dat from the backup on the Desktop to AppData/Roaming/SolarCoin
  • Copy contents of txleveldb from the backup on the Desktop to AppData/Roaming/SolarCoin/txleveldb
  • Open SolarCoin wallet again

Hopefully you now have a fully functioning version 2.1.6 wallet.

reloaded blockchain but 861 blocks behind with no progress.

update***
Waiting for over 1 hour so far what stinks is as time goes on so does the blocks i am behind now i am at 958

In situations like this, I always got successfully synced by force-connecting to a fully synced wallet.
(first you may want to backup the SolarCoin.conf, also backup and then delete the peers.dat file)
In case you know the IP address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) of a fully synced node, put this command before all the addnode commands in the SolarCoin.conf, then restart:

connect = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Or you can also try replacing (temporarily?) the addnode command block in the SolarCoin.conf with the 2.1.6 addnode command block that can be obtained through the block explorer:
With the wallet running, select BlockChain, select the Network tab, then the "Version, Protocol & Network Share" link(button); click on the "node list" button for /Satoshi:2.1.6/, then right-click & Select All anywhere in the addnode list that pops up, then right-click & Copy. You can then paste the list to replace all the addnode commands in the SolarCoin.conf. In this case also backup and delete the peers.dat file before re-running the wallet.

y_virtual thanks for the tips

Now it says i am in sync but stuck on block 1440601

So maybe... if for any reason that client had gotten on the wrong blockshain...and now you got it on the right one, but it still got blocks from the wrong one (before the sync)... may be those do not get "overwritten" and confuse the client? In which case you may also have to re-download the blockchain and then it will have no forked blocks and will sync up to the correct current block since you are connecting to 2.1.6 nodes only (through the addnode commands)... Just guessing...

Got my wallet to sync with 1936 block remaining then it stoped on my notebook took about 4 days Huh Just re downloaded block chain and now stuck at new closer to fully synced spot.  Embarrassed
My Main computer wallet is running fine.

So far i have tried everything that has been mentioned with no luck if any one has any new ideas i would greatly appreciate it. I even copied the entire solarcoin roaming file from my working computer moved it to the notebook and Solarcoin program would not open with errors after doing this.

Going to try this again
Copy blk0001.dat from the backup on the Desktop to AppData/Roaming/SolarCoin
Copy contents of txleveldb from the backup on the Desktop to AppData/Roaming/SolarCoin/txleveldb

Sounds stupid but have you tried just closing the wallet and reopening it? Mine also gets stuck quite often when I leave it closed for a while... The trick is to close/open the wallet several times until it finally syncs.

Sry if i'm just pointing out super obvious stuff haha. If nothing works you can always try to reinstall windows (but there must be a way around that) Just get a intel pc stick and send your coins there Wink

There's definitely some compatibility issues in this release. My little netbook running windows 7 is running great. Can't get it working on my xp build. It was working (the xp machine) for a few days after "tricking" it with 2.1.1 then upgrading with a fully synchronized wallet, but it crashed and went back to not synching up properly again. Looking for a patch soon.

I think it's a forking issue: many of the wallets that are already updated to 2.1.6 are still connecting&staking on the 2.1.1 blockchain, so both forks still go in parallel.
One of my active wallets did it, too, even though it had been on the right blockchain for quite a while. I am now trying to put it back on the 2.1.6 blockchain - reloaded blockchain from the bootstrap, disabled staking, connected only to correctly synced 2.1.6 nodes, now will try to resume staking. We have to be checking our wallets for syncing against the blockchain explorer and manually bring them back on the right blockchain (if needed) to help the 2.1.6 hard fork establish itself faster on the network.

added observation: after a wallet re-scan, when staking resumes balances on the Overview page get completely out of whack - this happens ONLY IF the wallet is STILL on the WRONG blockchain.

hey - I received a reply https://lykke.com/LykkeSLRAgreement.pdf
The Deadline is 11/11
There isn't any particular sign up for it as far as I can see. Just send SLR to the pool contribution address? Seems a bit loose?
Does anyone know how do Lykke generate income? (0% commission)

Well I just checked one of my wallets and it looks like it also forked..Don't know for how long I was off the main blockchain but im reloading now, maybe my wallet was causing some of the issues regarding those who had problems syncing again. Anyway reloading now and I should be back up in a few hours

Back up and running already! Here is what I did (took less than 45 minutes)

Step 1: Close your wallet
First I backed up my Wallet.dat and the peers.dat and then I deleted everything the the Solarcoin except the wallet.dat file.
I then reopened my wallet just to find out that I had 0 connections (probably because I also deleted the peers.dat file)
I the proceeded by pressing reload blockchain and let the wallet restart. (I noticed I still have 0 connections but it says in sync)
Then I closed the wallet again and replaced the peers.dat file I had backed up with the one that has been newly created by the application.
I reopened my wallet and there you go. I was fully synced to the main chain and and already back and staking!

I also had to do a rescan because my coins were not all showing up Smiley

Hope this helps

Edit: I'm missing 2 days of interest payments though  Shocked If only I had seen this sooner (Feels just like back in the days when I came home only to notice all of my miners had randomly turned off or overheated haha)
