I'm pretty sure the diff change would have no effect on your miners speed. Did you try a reboot?

Dunno. I rebooted a couple of them just the other day when Kano restarted something because miners were dropping off and on. I thought I had something going on here so I did some rebooting of my own before I saw his post. Heck one of them I even reset to factory defaults and reconfigured just to make sure.

I don't know what your issues may be. But if the diff changes were to slow down miners, my S9's would all be hashing below 5TH/s with all the diff changes they have seen. LOL Wink

Good luck with it!

Not any good sig campaigns out there that I want!

S9 on Bitmain went up in price.
Just for a comparison - The 14Ths S9s (not 13.5) just delivered for the October batch were $1141

(And they're underperforming the July and August 13.5THs units.)

Well all my 14.5's that were getting 14.5 are now all getting 13.5. Maybe the difficulty change has slowed them down?

I didn’t even know that they had 14.5 out, I thought 14 was max?  Smiley

Temperature can can change the speed of my S9's. I doubt much other than power supply issues could.

Hey guys,

Ordered 2 Avalons 741 from Miner Warez for the batch shipping Nov 06. Got some money again so now I'm thinking ordering a couple more for the one shipping Nov 20.

Do any of you bought from Miner Warez before? Is the site reliable? What do you think?

Also: Come on blooocks!  Cool

The site is reliable, there is a thread in Hardware dedicated to them as a distributor

Just FYI...Most of my (Paid in July arrived Sept) 13.5Th S9's are hashing well over..one is 14th...3 others are averaging 13.8..
My lowest is bang on 13.5...(I got scammed by Mindtrip sending me 4x used older batch after paying high premium for "NEW" miners)

my temps are low 60's...getting frosty here...

I'm also looking for a wallet to claim some bch and buy another S9..
But I'm NOT going to compromise my CoreWallet..
Anyone done it? ...I searched but the links/threads are not exactly inspiring.

Yeah in the 70's here. If our variance gets better and the block frequency increases to compensate the loss of rewards for a higher pool hash I am good. But with Bitmain jacking around with BCC crap and Avalons taking order once in a decade, hard to increase my miners to keep up, not to mention power and cooling! OMG!

Holy smacks, we're at 121,415.82THs !

If we were expecting 40-45 blocks with 90'ish PH, this should bring in quite a few more...

SHIT I JUST HAD MY WALLET HACKED and BTC stolen!!!  lost 0.63BTC

I deleted the old wallet dat from the appdat roaming and reloaded core to make a new address..
also a new passphrase and locked it and backed it up...

But is the new wallet safe...if they got my private key from the old wallet.dat?

The new wallet should have new keys.

But your problem is that your computer that holds your wallet is obviously compromised.  So if you were indeed hacked then it should be trivial for the same hacker to get your new wallet too.

So you should probably setup a completely new system for your client and be very careful of what you do on that computer.

If you need to do things on the internet that are inherently risky then use one machine for just that purpose and maybe install a VM and have it reset to default configuration each time you log out of it and use that image for that.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

I suggest a cheap tablet running Ubuntu or something and installing your wallet there and doing nothing else with it, other than backing up your dat file to a couple other locations in case of hardware failure.

Man, I feel your pain and I hope you get squared away on this.  Ever heard of hardware wallets (KeepKey, Trezor, Ledger, etc)?  When you are not using them you can unplug and store them in a safe...and they use all kinds of security like 12 word recovery and randomly rotating numeric pads for entering your pin, etc.
