With 62PH now are there still 1300 users?
I recalled there were 700~800 users when the pool was at ~60PH.

I could have sworn that there were 200 less users than that before Kano asked renters to leave. Like earlier yesterday or the day before.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I'll be putting in a few patches into the pool code and see if that has any unexpected positive results.
I'm just doing them now and testing them so will be about 15:00 UTC and I'll do a pool restart (in about an hour)
Restart all ok and chugging away.
Now to see if this nightmare can change it's tune Smiley

Anyone else here of course if you have time to do it and can, please check your miners.
What I'm looking for is a miner with a "Best Share" above Network Difficulty (1196792694098.793)
Any shares found that should be blocks, I can convert the "Best Share" share difficulty into a block hash and check it matches one of the blocks on the pool.
There aren't hundreds of blocks in the last month, so it's not hard to check.

Nothing that high that I can see.

Mine @ pools that pay Tx fees & don't mine empty blocks :: kanopool :: ckpool ::

I think this is time to resort to more satanic rituals and we might have to resort to sacrificing some lambs.  and maybe a few virgins.

i figure that we are about to get fooked any way we turn, considering this situation plus some nasty noises coming from the corps re what chain will be what.

i can't stay because of "something" unknown and possible maintenance, but I can't go because the obvious second choice is in a fight.
please, don't tell me about any of china-pools.

The reason he is looking for anyone that has a miner with a share over the current network difficulty is that if a miner has a best share over that it would have resulted in a block found for the pool.

At almost 900% I am really happy that I only have 3 old S9 to care for, those with small farms must be in a panicmode right now. And those who don´t got free electricity.....  must be a disaster.

Checked all my miners and my best share was with an s9 running BM miner 2.0
best share 27466069988

Unfortunately the 4 e9's don't report a best share, but only list "found blocks 0"

My s9 is not over with best share of 15,710,908,828 in 17d3h16m52s.  I'm hanging in there with you too Kano!  Slush (my failover) has found 12 blocks since midnight - but with their hash rate, probably less payment than 1 block here.  Out of curiosity, does the Kano api have the ability to get payment info as well as miner details?

For what its worth the best share numbers are much lower then 1196792694098.793

But here they are if it helps at all with any thing.

S9 number 1 best share is 7959749381
S9 number 2 best share is 2344219225
S9 number 3 best share is 10718647319

For me (not sure of data) :

7042539221 (with this diff for kano 13,184,686)
3829743605  (with 13,996,106)
