Common Block!

I am considering purchasing some silver! Move my BTC over to IRA eligible Silver so don't have to worry about taxes! At least I think it should work that way.

Its going on sale.

Sh....t yesterday it was $5400!  Now that’s when it was really on sale!  Grin.  No worries partners, my prediction that it will be up to $9000 by 25th of December, at least!    Cool

Yikes, I was way off!  Sorry guys!  Cheesy

It will 10k before 2018. Maybe in a few days. Either way it is ahead of what I was guessing it would be

Network:     6m 5s (496258)

This block was found by BTC.COM 3 minutes ago.

Kano, is it on my end? I find it hard to believe that I would have a 3 minute proxy delay with a ping of 27ms.

EDIT: Network:     8m 28s (496258) Now it is 6 minutes. With ten minute theoretical rounds this is disconcerting. When we submit the work, is it being delayed and sent to Blocks that have already been found? Just asking.

nice to see hash rate coming back

Hash rate always comes back when we hit lots of blocks in their absence. It's the very nature and mentality of pool hopping.

Hasn't come back, this is the regular canaan ebb and flow on their own hash rate.  We've been pretty solid around 20,000 TH.

LMAO - now I have to read that whole blog! Too funny! ("In regards to" is my top grammatical pet peeve).

That was one tough block! Happy we finally cracked it  Grin
Go block Friday!

Hello experts, my poor little miners downstairs seemed to have mined a small amount of BTC, but they are not showing up in my wallet.  Is the payout too low for a a deposit?  Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what canaan is, but the user count is coming back somewhat.  Our low number of users was 900 on 11/17 and our high today was 1017.  In case anyone is interested, here are the November Kano Pool User and Hash stats (started gathering late on Nov 2).  BTW, I think the anomaly on the 17th is a server restart so I probably need to throw those out eventually...  I could have swore that our 200PH was in November, but either my averaging code is messed up or it was in October.

You're mining on kano, and you don't know what canaan is...no worries.

Canaan Creative is the Avalon miner mfr. They run on this pool partly because Kano wrote the book on their miners; what you see is their farm, and/or (I assume in this instance) their new product burn-in batches.

That's all. Nothing to see here...  Cool

Yes indeed, all payouts above dust have been sent and confirmed for all blocks found.
(of course including up to 496018)
It easiest to just check your own addresses to see them.
Go to blocktrail and enter your addresses.

Well to give complete credit where due, Kano and one other prominent miner software guru here who shall remain un-named in this thread to keep the peace wrote the book.

And how much does Canaan love this pool? Well, when setting up your pool preferences take note that one of the pull down choices is here Wink
