Hopefully we end up cracking a block soon even with jihad trying to force the flippering and almost 50% hash rate taken off btc. and with the high tx fees to even try and get a transaction to confirm in any reasonable amount of time seems to be makeing some huge juicy size block pay outs. Just seen a block slush got that was freaking 21.67950116 BTC block reward and lots of other 16+ btc blocks getting hit today. We could use a few big fat giant payouts. Yep, that 21 block is still processing almost an hour later. Have a few machines on slush right now and am enjoying what I'm seeing. Kano's blocks haven't been over 16 yet. We haveing gotten any blocks today yet on kano to be able to see what sort of block payout we get but. Tho if we do hit a block thats big and juicy we get our share of the extra sweet juice.

Are you saying our next block will be 18+? It seems all current blocks are big. According to btc.com, the smallest is 17+ for the last 20 blocks. Hopefully we end up cracking a block soon even with jihad trying to force the flippering and almost 50% hash rate taken off btc.

At least now we know just how big bitmain really is. Yikes! Also it is quite a bit more profitable to mine altcoins atm. Don’t worry the hashrate will come back. Def some interesting times. Also looking forward to gaining more btc with the new equihash coin. All about accumulating more btc BR

No, that was the value of the block + transaction fees in the work we were working on at the time I said that. At this moment it's 19.864... Though our highest in the last 2 hours so far has been 23.674...

Its encouraging to think we could get a 23+ size block if we get one today. That would be almost double the base reward. I think that shows that in the future when the mining rewards half and half and half, that mining will still be profitable. Plus BTC will be worth 20kUSD by then too right?

PAPPS% for nov and meanwhile people mining on pools like antpool who think they have low fees are going to be paying out the nose in unpaid out tx fees that antpoo skims off the top as there network engineer tip or whatever they call it. (thats one hell of a "small" lol tip.) lol lol Next time antpool does gift giveaways for miners who mine with them full time, They should give away big jars of Vaseline.

im in awe at how easy 7 exa hash was to switch chains. What a mess this will cause for pool ops all services etc. Looking here its getting ugly. https://statoshi.info/dashboard/db/fee-estimates looks like its finally starting to peak tho. its hard to see it here. https://btc.com/stats/pool?pool_mode=day but when looking here at running hashrate. https://chain.so/btc its dropped from 11.2 down to present of just over 4 exa. its slowly coming back..i find it funny how much effort bch is putting into this attempted subversion. All of sudden we are at 6 tps all while the backlog due to 2/3 network swapping off btc. Sure seems they putting an aweful lot of money into this to not take it a bit serious. https://statoshi.info/BR

BitCH crap coin difficulty just jumped from 130G to 522G. Watch all the hash flood back into BTC. At least until their EDA kicks in, in about 1 or 2 days.

People using calculators are not considering the almost DOUBLE payouts from the sky high transaction fees being added to the reward. Any pool or mining service not paying out fees is making quite a bit by holding onto this, and alt-coins aren't going to generally have this much of a transaction bonus paid to miners. I must admit though, I feel for users the transaction fee now is a bit discouraging.
