I haven't received my payment for the block that we just solved... What is going on?

Too soon?  Grin

me too  Shocked Grin Grin

You will see it with the next block we find as long as it has 101 confirmations.

I think they are doing a poor attempt at humor.  Undecided

Great job on the block Overcon !!!   Grin

On a completely unrelated note:

I have a mildly interesting data point for the other newbies out there.   When I set up my miner in October, I just blindly pointed it to Stratum.kano.is because, well, that what the examples in the instructions said (-:  After reading and watching and doing some ping tests I realized - being on the east coast of the US and all -  I should switch it to nya.kano.is   Ping response of nya was half of stratum.  So I switched.  I did a quick hash rate average and in the 33 shifts since the switch I averaged 7.20 with my Avalon 741.  The 33 shifts before the switch averaged 7.17.

Now we know - The response time matters very little but hey - its a few pennies that will add up to a lunch at MacDonalds.   Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch?

Or maybe to purchase a chicken for the next difficult block??

Mine on

Yep, just one lonely Antminer R4 running @ 8.1 THs here close to the coast - Palm Harbor, FL area.
Been mining with it here @ Kano since the day I got it - just over a year ago.
Hopefully soon to add two Avalon 741's @ 7.3 THs each if they finally ship in Jan 2018.
Looking to bump up my total to 22.7 THs & Mine On!

Hi Folks. I am new here and a newbie miner too. I have purchased 5 x Antminers (SHA256) each can do 1.30 TH/s at max.

As I never used Kano before, which SHA256 coins can I mine through this pool?

Thanks for your help in advance

Since your in the Bitcoin section of the forums, in a Bitcoin Pool thread, I would guess, Bitcoin!

Hey, congratulations on the block, I have a question regarding the rewards. Is the "n avg" supposed to be the average hashing power my rig is doing? If so, why is it showing a number a lot less then what my rig is giving on the rewards screen (It showss 1.7 THS when I'm actually closer to 7 THS) ? Good luck mining buds.

It's your average over the 5Nd=9.370T, in this case over the last 409hr 52m 47s before the block was found.
If you've not been mining for 409hrs, then your average will be lower than your hash rate.
e.g. if you've been mining for half of the 409hrs your hash rate would be about half.

Thanks Kano. So How many hours would I need to get my average as high as my hash rate for the next block?
