Block! by blockmines again 3 in a row S9v1 1.5BTC txn fees Sure glad those guys significantly upped there hash here! Damn fine addition! Oh we are only getting started For all of those who are mining here, do not leave. As I mentioned in a previous post this is fastest and most advanced mining pool from a technical standpoint. It is also bitcoins best kept secret as most miners go for the big pools that are in China (big mistake). Not only are the fees higher, they do not share transaction fees like Kano does. However there is something else unique about this pool that I am unable to share. With that being said, do not leave ever. The grass is not going to ever be greener than it is here. Ride out the bad months and reap the good months. Good Luck and Mine on!!! I agree my avalon 721's are here for good.

Great job everyone ! I'm just a small miner and I have trouble keeping my small hasrate constant (S7 slowly drops after a few days... and 1 S5 just stops mining until physically restarted) but I hang on I still have 4xS3+ and 2 S5 gathering dust, I will try to add them at some point but they need to be "hidden" so I can host them in a datacenter :p So I'm looking for an empty 4U chassis to put them in a rack.

Meanwhile In the basement is my baby changing table. works just fine with 2 lower shelves filled with antminer (avalon) . Styrafoam on two sides and and fan blowing at one end. Still working on noise reduction however piled on top are a couple of empty lcd tv boxes. You see its made of wood so I will someday enclose like a 4U and remember to lock the wheels for anyone that will copy my idea.

I'm a relatively small miner also. Certainly not even close to 1PH! LOL I was "blasting out" ~55TH with four S9's and an S7 F1 (one fan). But as of yesterday that number has decreased to three and two-thirds S9's as another hash board has died. Additionally, today is HOT! Mid 80's F (hottest day of the year so far). So I have the freq. of all my S9's miners turned down to 525MHz and the S7 freq. set to 625MHz as it has very little ventilation. ( But the temps are good.) The S9 chip temps are all running in the low to mid 90'sC. Better to be safe than sorry and perhaps make the miners last a bit longer. Yesterday, one S9 miner shut down because of high temp. Not sure if the high temp killed the hash board or the hash board failure caused the high temp. Anyway I had to rush home from work to kill the power to the shut-down miner. I was alerted to the problem by logging in to my Kano Pool account at work and seeing one miner with 0 hash. Anyway, my hash on Kano Pool now is three and two-thirds S9's and a single S7 for a whopping ~45-46TH - at least until the sun goes down and it cools off some. Then I shall jump back to 600MHz which will give me ~ 50-52TH. Good luck all. Let's crack those blocks!!! Mine on!!.... And... COMEONBLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

It's just a short-term rental until I can up my S9's to their speed potential. It's still almost 90 degrees F here and I have the miners under-clocked. I felt the need to compensate (and a bit more) for my under-clocked machines. Who knows, maybe I'll grab a block for us! Best of luck to us all!!

Same here this is when I start to shutdown the miners unless their is a away to cool them down. Anyone try using the cpu/gpu coolers on a aisic machine? or is their a mini a/c unit? Suppose I can point a de-humidifier in the direction of the miners? Okay go block

I have tried AC this past summer. It helps very little. The AC ends up freezing over and just adds to the electric bill. 20" box fans pulling air from windows are much better, IMHO. Good luck!

Is the "STOP MINING" thing that Kano found in antminer's code a while ago the same thing that they are now calling antbleed vulnerability?

Yes, but most people commenting about it, clearly do not understand how to read code

I just added 120TH to my Kano Pool account from Mining Rig Rentals. I guess I'm disappointed in losing personal hash rate from my miners. Hopefully, my clean hash from MMR will be a positive for the Kano Pool. I know rentals are frowned upon, but MMR has always been a positive for me and has found two blocks on Kano in the past. At least one more block for the day, preferably three!! Why are rentals frowned upon? If that's not a question allowed here, then please disregard it.

Because 99% of the time they are a complete waste of BTC

At least one more block for the day, preferably three!! Why are rentals frowned upon? If that's not a question allowed here, then please disregard it. It's pretty much a guaranteed loss to rent. Why would someone rent out their machine, if they could make more mining with it themselves? The answer is that they can always find some sucker who will pay them more and thus expect a loss. Also note that the person renting out their machine needs to make 'expected' plus rental site fee, so it's even worse. Short term it's random, and yes random means you have no control over it being a profit or loss. Long term it's an expected loss.
