Anyone else just starting to have a pool connection issue or just me? Thanks!!! My miners are screaming at me...... Me thinks we have a problem or I have a problem. But the pool hash is dropping too.  My hash seems to be going back up now.  Same. Failed over a couple of times here. Glad it wasn't just me. But all seems well again now.  |

At 17:08 UTC there was a reconnect on the main stratum.kano.is that many miners would have reconnected.
There was also some network connectivity issues at 18:14-18:16 on stratum.kano.is that some miners would have reconnected.
None of the nodes were affected by either of the above and in both the above cases they would have just been a failover and failback by any miner affected by it.

Another failover at 20:34 UTC, this time it seems it was a general everyone affected, but again a failover then a failback pretty quickly.
Seems to be some network issues on the west coast US, but since each time it has been so quick there's nothing showing up at the provider.

Are you guys seeing what's going on with all of the cryptocurrency! It is dropping catastrophically!!!   . I'm hoping that the BTC won't go lower than $1500!? That's what is known as a "Market Correction".  What are your predictions? I got about 1 BTC right now and wondering if I should sell it or wait. I had 1.4, I sold mine. I am back down to 14 bucks (from my measly PASC miners) and whatever coins I get from Kano's pool when we get another block. But I will just grow it back up. I need a new Refrigerator so selling at 2400 was a good deal for me. It was hard not to sell last night but I didn't! . I think I'll wait for bubble to inflate again! |

Afraid we'll get back to $1700-1800 in 2 days.
There's no substance at all behind the last bull run.
My strategy is to sell most during bull runs, unless those price hikes are backed by:
a) Protocol upgrade
b) Mining reward halving

I think you'll find the last drop is most likely nothing to do with core or anything like that. You're thinking that people take too much notice of that small closed group of people  Whatever did push the price up, even if it was artificial, the pop+fall+recover is pretty much expected like with any stock on a stock exchange. If the price rises too quickly, people will decide a point to sell, and then you'll see a sell off that will make the price fall. Next is how far people will let it fall before considering buying it, at what they consider the bottom of the fall. If it was a quick bubble, like the last week, you'll find the fall will be to a lower level, since in general people will consider the bottom out point to be lower before buying again. |

Well if you look at the "Monthly Statistics" it says if we are ahead of behind based on the month's blocks found vs shares submitted. At the moment it's 59 Blocks with 58.87 Expected - which means we are just a fraction ahead of expected (thanks to those last 2 quick ones) That's the target of this growth - get us closer to the expected 100% Yeah it's awesome to get months like Feb and Apr, but it also means months like Dec are more likely also Higher hash rate means less variance |

Looks like luckyant is failing over again. Wonder if we'll beat the hashrate from yesterday and if he'll find a block again! Yeah he's been failing over to us at least a few times a day for a bit now. In the past he's mined on the pool and failed over on occasion. Of users with 5 or more blocks, he comes in with the 3rd best CDF of all time (i.e. he has well above expected) |
