Anyone know why my S9's would be reporting half the hast rate or so they should have?
Miner.2r9 12.495k 3s 1,206 10,517,520 14.43THs 3m 58s 0.402% 0.017% 8.32THs Miner.1r9 10.531k 0s 1,076 10,021,526 14.82THs 3m 58s 0.729% 0.016% 8.26THs
While the Miner(s) says:
Elapsed GH/S(RT) GH/S(avg) 5m59s 13,645.36 12,619.81
Well we probably should let Kano answer this but I think he is traveling now. Your Share Rate is the hash rate for your less than four minutes. Your Hash Rate, *I think*, is your portion of the shift your submitting shares to. It should reach your real hash rate either when you mine a full shift or you reach your 5Nd. Yeah I probably shouldn't of posted that because my hash rate had dropped and it was at those speeds after 36 days. I had just rebooted them to see if that would reset them to the normal hash rate, which usually matches. Normally I run around 39-40 TH but I was down in the 20's and was wondering why it was reporting 8TH on Kano and 113.5 on the miners, so a reboot was the next troubleshooting step.

The first place to look is Workers->Shifts That shows your rewarded hash rate for each shift, which is usually 45-50 minutes, unless we find a block, and sometimes shorter for a few other reasons. "Avg Hs" You can see on your Shifts page that it went down during "8g5m4 charlotte" Since it wasn't hashing for a few hours after that, it takes time for the hash rate to show correctly again. You'll see that since "8g6rk juvia" you're back on track, since you reconnected everything during "8g6kw ichiko" I highlighted during coz that means that the hash rate shown for that shift will of course be low. If you mine for 1/2 a shift, yaw average hash rate for the full shift will be about half what you expect, of course. In general, it takes at least an hour or more for a miner to be finding shares close to matching their hash rate. You pool hash rate is simply a calculation based on your "Share Rate" i.e. the rate at which you submit shares, since that's the only thing the pool knows and the only thing it can trust. I added "Share Rate" coz it helps you to see your shares appear, and a hash rate based on them immediately, when you first connect. Your hash rate will be some random variance around your miner's hash rate depending on how long you have been mining. However, the Shifts page shows it pretty clearly what happened, and usually will for most cases Edit: and if you want to see those numbers for a single worker, you can use the Shift Graph, and use one of the "WorkerN" fields, then when you move your mouse over the line for that worker, you'll see each value for just that worker. But in this case that wouldn't matter, since everything disconnected.

After your first payment from using it you had ROI.

Hi,
I'm new to Kano and I've set my few miners on the pool for a day jsut to try it out (have been at Slush so far).
I have a question concerning the transactions I recive:
Do I have to pay the transaction fee for every transaction that I recieve from the pool? I'm asking cause the numbers of Btc I recieve differ from what the hp says what I got. Is that normal? And So far I've got a lot of small payments and paying transaction fees on every single transaction seems kinda nonsense to me... .
Thanks in advance.

I'm not understanding your question. Are you having your rewards sent to your Core, or to some third-party wallet? If your rewards go to your Core, you don't have any fees on the inbound. FWIW...there ain't no nonsense on this pool...maybe a burp here and there, but no nonsense Anyway...if you've been mining for just a day, how do you have any more than 2-4 transactions to begin with? Do you have each of your miners as a separate user (not seen anyone do it, but I suppose it's possible)? That would create a separate transaction for each machine...but would also be seen as dust, I suspect. I think we could use a bit more background.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

There is no way you can "try out" this pool in just one day. It take a several days to even ramp up to your full 5Nd here. If you want to see how this pool out performs every pool out there, you need to invest a month of your time and resources here. Then you will see the results of the be best kept secret around. I spent some time on Slush in the past and I gotta tell you, the Kano pool is in a much higher league all around.

Hi,
thank you very much for your patience and your answers.
So, I'll try to clarify:
@firetreeactual I am using Bitcoin wallet on my android phone. Is that one of the "core" wallets you were talking about?
And the issue I was talking about: Accoding to the kano side recived some payments. However, these are smaller than what is actually arriving at my wallet. So I assumed that these are reduced by transaction fees. And there are always many payouts whenever a block is found, is that normal as well? I'm just a little worried becase I egt many small payments, vs. in Slush where I get payments according to my options.
@ clgrissom3 Shouldn't all pools have the same probabilty of finding a block (of course in correlation to the respective hashpower) and income only further reduced by the pool / transaction fee?
Thanks for your answers again!
