I guess that's why you don't leave your coins on a service?
They do have pretty high minimum withdrawal rates and they charge a lot for withdrawals in the first place. Whole lot of hassle for a possibly slightly increased payout. I've never run any of my miners on Nicehash before for that reason, and I'm pretty glad for doing so. Perhaps some of the hashing power will come to Kano Smiley

Precisely. Many on this pool use exchange wallets for various reasons, but us die-hard, old timers don't feel comfy with anything but Core.

There's an extensive (putting it mildly) discussion on this earlier in the thread.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

Ok, a couple of things:

1. Can everyone do a block-dance? Sort of like a rain dance, I guess. Is that a thing? Where are the memes?

2. If I have to do some wiring maintenance and need to switch power sources, causing my miners to go down shortly, will I need to restart my "ramp up". Also, I'm still new to mining and I would like to read a little more about how the ramping up works. I've seen references to to 2Nd or 5nD or something. Please educate me.

Mine on,

You only need to ramp back up for the time lost.  If you were down for 12 hours then you need approximately 12 hours to recover your 5Nd.  That's the beauty of 5Nd, it forgives small outages.  I once mined on sl--h a long time ago and if you had to go down for a small amount of time and a block was hit, you would get nothing.

Hey guys, I was on Nicehash and have moved my minors over to you. Love the small company feel. Anyway, on my Ant Miner stats it says it is connected to your servers and its mining but I am unable to see any kind of stats? I am somewhat new to this so please excuse my ignorance. Thanks in advance.

WELCOME!!!

Login to Kano site and click Workers>Workers

or Workers>Shift Graph

If you just pointed them over, it will take a little while for the graph to start populating.

Are you mining to a worker name or directly to a BTC address?

If you mine only with a bitcoin address you can view user and worker stats:
e.g.
http://www.kano.is/address.php?a=BTCaddressHere
http://www.kano.is/worker.php?a=BTCaddressHere_worker

Please, I have a question: What the difference between the Shares and Avg Share??

Thanks for attention.

EDIT: Sorry for my noobest question.

And which one is calculated to know how much BTC I am generating per hour?
Your BTC per hour is random - that's how ALL PPLNS pools work.

Your expected, average BTC per hour is simply your hash rate * TxnFees,
The 100% PPS calculation is on this page:
http://tradebtc.net/bitcalc.php
N.B. some sites don't uderstand what 1-Diff is so may give you a wrong different value.

What you should get (close to) for a given range on the Blocks page is your hash rate (as 100% PPS) * luck * txnfees
(without subtracting the pool fee until next year)

"I can see clearly now the rain is gone I can see all obstacles in my way "

Thank you Kano to contribute with understanding the fluid ecosystem of bitcoin.

What worker name are you using? Or have you setup your miner with a bitcoin wallet address as the  worker name?

Mine @ pools that pay Tx fees & don't mine empty blocks :: kanopool :: ckpool ::
Should bitmain create LPM for all models?

Once you are up to your full rate on the 5nd you could even go offline for a whole enire day now that its about 15 days long for the full 5nd rate. and it would only drop your overall average hash rate by a tiny bit over the range of the entire 5nd.
