Just for my own personal understanding, is it safe to say that Invalids can be caused by HW errors and shares submitted right after a Block is found and we go to work on the next block? Thanks.

Question about HW errors. Chain 6 on my miners are all very high. 850, 630 etc.  Chain 7 and 8 on all the miners are all less than 10. Why is that and is there an issue I need to resolve?

Same issue here. I thought it's normal, but if anyone knows about it, please enlighten us. Thanks.

The different reasons are actually listed on the Workers page if you click on the 'Show Details for Invalids:' check box.

They are:
Stale: you sent the share after the block changed
Dup: you sent the same share twice (this isn't really that uncommon)
Hi: the pool wanted Diff X shares, but you sent Diff Y shares (where Y is less than X)
Rej: there was something wrong with your data you sent to the pool. An example would be: you pointed an LTC miner at the pool Smiley

HW errors aren't part of any of that coz the miner doesn't send them to the pool.

Got it. Of my miners, only one has any issue with Invalids. Here is the data associated HI = 46,302/3. Every other miner has 0 across the board. Remedies, is there anything I can do improve performance? Thanks.

I switched to another pool when kanopool had about 100% busy finding a block (sorry).

Is it correct that I do not get paid for these contributions when the pool reaches 600% and still no block found?

My S7 and S7-LN earned me a total of $238.45 in the month of November on Antpool. Since this pool is only rocking about 1100 current users, should the next block we find have a huge reward? The last two blocks brought me a combined total of roughly $28, but I have only been mining Kano for about 10 days. Just trying to figure out how profitable this smaller pool can be. I think it's a great concept, less people creates a higher reward, but if you don't find a block you get nothing.

I am new as well. Smaller pools have bigger payouts but find less blocks. This particular pool has a 5ND associated with it. Once you reach a full ramp up, you will get your maximum payout for your contribution when a block is found. Everything is Luck and Variance, it just so happens that we are going thru a dry spell, no big deal. I would much rather go thru a dry spell during my ramp up period than hit a bunch of blocks when just beginning to mine here then go a long period without any blocks which is happening now. Either way, the pools fees are low, Kano, the person who runs the pool is a technical genius and responsive. I told myself that I would give this pool a 6 month time frame then do an analysis, I think that is fair to give it a chance and be respectful to the man who has dedicated his time and effort to run it. Mine On, don't be short sighted, all the data I have analyzed tells me that over time, miners do better here.

Mine On!! Come on Block!!

Go for it! Let's see. It's been a little over 8 days since we got a block. The last two blocks we got I made oh $1451 at current market value. That is, oh $175 bucks a day. You go over to Antpoo and get your $10 bucks a day (hypothetical, I dunno your hash-rate Smiley) and be happy! No one really minds you moving but I think I will stay here kkthxbye!

As long as your Shifts to which you mined are in the 5ND window, you will get paid for those shifts based upon your ramp up or ramp down in this case. If they don't you won't. Do the math.

Me and my 4 S9 14 TH/s miners are staying right here too. We have comparable hash so I expect similar payouts once I am up to the full 5nd. Life is good on Kano. Mine On!!

It’s a no brainer because your not using your brain. Do the math man. Studies have shown time and time again that retail shoppers would rather pay $20 with free shipping then $15 with two dollars of shipping. Just because something looks better doesn’t necessarily mean it is better. Daily payments might be nice but in the end you are sacrificing money. I don’t know your current financial situation but for me, if I needed daily payments, this is not something that I would be gambling with.
