Just for the hell of it, have you tried it on a different pool other than GPUMAX?

It probably wont make a difference but I am curious, considering GPUMAX is not a traditional pool.

I have a feeling we may need to issue a firmware update today, as soon as stcupp comes around we will get to the bottom of this, thanks for being patient but I assure you we will get to the bottom of this and get it resolved TODAY.

Luckily these are made to update the firmware very easily and I am guessing this is what we are going to have to do.

as soon as stcupp comes online we will get these all up and running, thank you for being patient.

Sorry I wasn't around today everyone!

All cards were tested before they were sent out. I do have a new firmware for the ARM chip for everyone though!

http://fs07n5.sendspace.com/dl/56045c81d8dc87863633a93d98caa90a/4fe0dd5d18e34a41/0ixpqy/MMQ.zip

Reset button is on the left
ISP button is on the right

To do the update:

Hold BOTH the Reset and ISP buttons
Release the Reset button while still holding the ISP button
Release the ISP button
Unplug USB and plug it back in, the board will now show up as a mass storage device
Open the MSD and you should see one file named firmware.bin
Delete firmware.bin and copy the new firmware file to the device
If running linux make sure you sync/unmount the drive first
Unplug USB, hit the Reset button, and plug USB back in
The firmware is now updated.

If your still having problems email me at stephen@btcfpga.com or post here and I'll get back to you ASAP

Make sure your cards are in the socket nice and snug I've seen cards get wiggled loose from the vibrations of fans

hello

I work with ceo of RSM , i am investor in RSM

we ordered your boards long time ago before anyone else , we still havent got them while everyone else getting them along with 9% discount

are we going to get 9% , has our 2 boards been sent yet ?

how come we never got them first before everyone else , since we ordered them first ?

We should have the boards by this Friday to Monday hopefully.  I think they were posted today?

Let me just clear something up here please

Matthew is a friend and employee of mine and he actually purchased his units while we were still prototyping

and way before we ever even went public with them or anyone had ever even heard of the modminer quad or BTCFPGA.com

he was sent a prototype at one time but asked if he could send it back and upgrade to the new and improved unit which I agreed to do

This mess is my mess to clear up - I should of never agreed to sell a prototype but at the time we were in need of funding and I thought it was the right thing to do.

As I have already explained to Matthew he is not entitled to the 9% discount because we never guaranteed a shipping time with him and this 9% discount did not even exist at the time he purchased one from me. Hell this business did not even really exist when he purchased one from me.

Your units are on the way and will be tracking soon. If you have any more questions you can certainly email me at tom@btcfpga.com

edit: and of course imsaguy :

Matthew or anyone else other than me and stcupp do not have any knowledge what so ever of when orders or shipments were/are made.

I did all that, restarted it, It went through the programming, and then setting the clock speed using the cgminer-2.4.2mmq build, but still not seeing any shares accepted or rejected.

On the cgminer-2.4.3-win32 build, it seems to just crash still.

my point was before he launched we bought the boards first and we didnt announce it, so i am bit surprised everyone is getting their boards before us , since we (RSM) were the first customer of this new fpga company

we were first in line and i was hoping we would get the 9% refund too !

So why not contact him directly?

Its starting to look like all these issues are software related which is a relief.

If you don't mind using MPBM instead of cgminer you should have no problems at all

for help with tech related issues you can join #BTCFPGA on Freenode IRC

the new firmware + the special 2.4.2 cgminer that was linked to earlier has got me hashing on 3 out of 4 daughter cards.  The engineer is working on the software so I'm confident the 4th will be mining soon.

If there is something that will make Bitcoin succeed, it is growth of utility - greater quantity and variety of goods and services offered for BTC. If there is something that will make Bitcoin fail, it is the prevalence of users convinced that BTC is a magic box that will turn them into millionaires, and of the con-artists who have followed them here to devour them.
