I cannot post in the other thread because it is locked so here it is:

You will need to have all of us modify our signature ads, your ad is now too large and is being chopped off.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=114728.msg1247496#msg1247496

All signatures are now limited to 42 pts in height.

This fits:

Code:
[color=black][b]54Gh/s bASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices[/b][/color]
[color=orange][b]Pre-Order Yours Today![/b][/color][b]
[color=black][b]Only $1069.99 ![/b][/color] @ http://www.BitcoinASIC.com[/b]

So I have changed my signature to it for you.

You might want to fix your OP etc. in the other "free miners" thread.

Doesn't look like theymos has rolled out the css update yet so for the moment the regular sig shows fine. I will wait for what Tom says first.

I take it back, on firefox it doesn't completely show now.. but on chrome it does.. weird.

Nevermind... I think my browser was just being slow to update the style sheet.

Good catch, it was cutting off the link to the website. I changed mine to this also.

Count me in among the ones wondering where "first batch cutoff" is. My order# is in the low 800s, so using the guesstimates posted earlier, that is probably around the 400th unit. Updated contest sig to fit within the new restrictions. I've noticed some backlash about the contest signatures, reading the thread linked, it appears the new restrictions are in response to that.

It seems to me that this thread could be forked into BTCFPGA miner, BitcoinASIC miner, and general BTFPGA/BitcoinASIC company news/discussion.

super that board size is announced. it would also be quite possible to learn the total dimensions? I would like to grab more of them in a 4HE enclosure.

The more open you are about your hardware compared to BFL the more customers you will get. People appreciate transparency. Good stuff.

I tried to ask this as a general question about FPGA mining devices in a separate post on the forum, but the post is somehow gone.  Huh

Has anyone tried to use the ModMiner Quad for other purposes than Bitcoin mining?  Are the I/O capabilities good enough for e.g. crypto purposes (WPA cracking, HDMI decryption, etc) or to work as a DSP in a SDR based OpenBTS femtocell, etc?  Anything else you can think of?

Sjå https://bitmynt.no for veksling av bitcoin mot norske kroner.  Trygt, billig, raskt og enkelt sidan 2010.
I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl
Warning: "Bitcoin" XT, Classic, Unlimited and the likes are scams. Don't use them, and don't listen to their shills.

Until difficulty goes well above 10 million (and your electricity cost on your MMQ approaches the BTC it generates), load balance it across all your pools so you can see which ones are working all the time and use that to decide about where to point your ASIC Smiley
