Was wondering if we can take on vote of whether to mine for PPC?

The PPC price has been steadily rising this few weeks and they now have a bunch of ambassadors going all out to promote it.

that would be way too much work on his end for an extra 1% profit. His backend is setup for bitcoin with our payout addresses locked in. He would have to manually edit every account.

I would rather see him implement merged mining to add a few extra %s of profit.

It's not just 1% pa profit.
There's plenty of upside for the price of PPC (its only USD2 now and was only USD0.10 back in Jan 2013).
I'm seeing a lot of miners moving to PPC since its on SHA-256.
One particular miner will have 3TH for PPC mining in Dec 2013.

Profitability versus btc is 101.x%.
Pyramining is mining bitcoins. I would not be for such a radical shift.

I don't disagree that ppc is likely to be one of the next Cryptos to catch on, but pyra is mining btc. And there isn't an easy way to cash out ppc to USD/Eur/etc. He needs to be able to easily convert to fiat to buy hardware.

Additionally to this it should be handled as a second "sister" system, not conversion of the existing system.

Yes, but exactly how much is dependent on how much he has to spend on hardware.

Greetings.  I can't find any other place to post questions or receive support, so I'll do it here.  My payout address has been expired . . . THANKS CAMPBX!!! YOU USELESS ASSHOLES!  Yes, I know, stupid to use an exchange address but frankly it was a long time ago newb mistake.  Now with the value of btc going up, my potential payout has a bit more value than anticipated.  Will you please take payout address change requests?

If he were interested in this, maybe he could move the older gen hardware to ppc when he reaches a certain hashrate with the new hardware, at say 100THs the 4.8THs we have now would be a drop in the bucket.

The current infrastructure value is curently decreasing; why? (I know that from the pratical point of view nothing is changing, it's only curiosity)

18/11: 268.17
25/11: 268.1
27/11: 268.09

Is it because of old hardware is not profitable anymore? But, this should happends only when difficult increases
