... It seemingly was easy. He implemented it rather quickly and so far you seem to be the only one bitching about how hard it is. Others had a problem, asked, got an answer and moved on.
Wouldn't surprise me if he isn't selecting the correct withdrawal address, and trying to sign with whatever the wallet had highlighted at the time, at this point...

=squeak=

I think your confused. The selecting an address for a signed message is done by the person in control of that address. This is done in the bitcoin client.
I'm not confused, and that was precisely what I was talking about. Smiley

My apologies.
My bet is he/she is entering address+isellyadabla in the box and hitting confirm. I doubt they have signed a message at all.
And instead of asking what and how do I sign, they bitch.
Not to mention they brought up how many mines they are a part of and how computer literate they are. Typical move by someone when they can't admit or see they are clearly missing something

Could be... I don't have a throw-away account to test myself, but signing is pretty much straightforward...

On a side-note, I noticed the homepage has all the info taken off of it, leaving just the login bug... and I can't see a list of referral addresses anymore...

Hoping this is just temporary until the new hardware is back online, and that our old referrals will still work.

I believe he took it down because of all the bitching on here.
I am sure all the referral stuff is there he just isn't showing it because of see above.
In all honesty, now that he has a deal with a producer it might be time for him to just close up new accounts permanently.
I have my accounts feeding into each other and I am sure many others do as well. This might be enough to keep going.

Wonderful, it's as difficult to sell as it it to make BTC with Pyramining!!!

Only Pyramining would make selling so difficult only programmers can do it...figures!!

Actually it is using a method of bitcoin... so instead rage to your wallet developer for not making signing a staple of the wallet.

And THIS is one of the reasons Bitcoin is still (and will remain) in it's infancy!!  I'm fairly computer/program literate but I don't fully speak the language. I'm involved in 5-6 mining operations and Pyramining is by far HANDS DOWN the most difficult to withdrawal funds.  I believe this is not an accident!!

Well guess what pyramining is also the most secure since they are implementing signing. Also you just said you were computer literate... how do you not know about key pair signing? It is a staple of ecommerce of the internet. It is one of the factors that makes SSL possible.

About half of my accounts are feeding into other accounts too... with a script running locally, so whenever something comes in from pyramining, it'll split it in half, send half to my cold wallet, and half to one of my pyra accounts at random.

Often, when I find a co-worker say he's computer literate, it usually means, he knows what one is, how to turn it on, and where to get to the start menu.

I have been requesting assistance, PM since thread 114!!!  And why is this so difficult? What's wrong with a simple sell with authentication?  Also have YOU tried to sell?  I bet it won't work!!

I don't understand why people do not read instructions. Selling an account is as simple as:

1) Choosing the withdrawal address from your own wallet.
2) Copy and paste "I_sell_account_*******_for_*****_BTC", without quotes, without spaces...
3) Sign the message.
4) Copy and paste the signature.

Every sell request until now has been fulfilled properly. If you can't follow these simple steps I don't know how to help you. Read again the instruction and try, if it doesn't work either you are doing the wrong procedure or the wallet you are using is flawed.

The website will come online as soon as I will finish reworking, however for all existing accounts everything keeps working as usual. It's just not possible to open new accounts for now (not a real issue since new hardware is not available yet - I will update as soon as there are new info).

I want to prevent people to just open accounts and depositing without reading and knowing what they are doing and thereafter coming here to complain.

I forgot to mention that you are seeing no rewards since BTC production is really close to costs. BTC value dropped (need more BTC to cover costs) and p2pool is currently a little bit unlucky. New hardware is really needed at this point.

I am also considering to move equipment in a nearby country to reduce power costs. It won't change much, but it will still improve the revenues someway.

I just extended the "sell" feature, now it works also for chained accounts. If you want to sell an account which deposit address is another account, you will be asked to sign it with the reward address of the last account of the chain. If you sell an account in the middle of a chain, the rewards address of all the accounts that point to the sold account will be changed to the rewards address of the last account of the chain.

I did several tests before releasing this feature, however I invite everyone to check that results are correct. In case something goes wrong, please contact me.

This is great.
I do not wish to sell my account, but I would like to change the payout address for one of my chained accounts. I went a little overboard with the chain.
Will you be supporting chained accounts when you enable changing of payout address for accounts.

I am still finishing the payout address change feature, of course it will be enabled for chained accounts too.

I just added the option to change the payout address of an account.

There is also a "loop check", so if you try to create a circular chain, the new address is considered invalid.
