Is this a one man op? Can't he focus on other coins to maximize profit? Sorry if this question has been asked before, and props on him for not running away!
ASICs don't mine for non-sha256 coins, and most of the SHA256 coins are worthless Not always true. I mined Maza for a few days and sold on a high. I made more than I would have if I had been mining BTC. But yes, that's the exception rather than the rule.

Pyramining: Any chance we can move to eligius? Steadier payouts would be better all around. Plus, they merge mine nmc that would help offset the management costs.

Status update: first 5TH/s have been installed. I will be able to install about 5TH/s week, maybe slightly more. There is a small "hole" to recoup due to the power usage of the previous generation ASICs. In a few days, payouts could start coming again. I will post some more details in the next days. I have been very busy making everything up and running.
Soooo when will this ,,small'' hole be recouped? You are Mining with 5TH/s at least for nearly a week now.

I supported the idea of p2pool when he first brought it up, however this p2pool at least has not grown along with the network. I say its time to move to eligius. They are 1/8th of the network, big enough to have steady payouts, yet still small enough for us to not be concerned about them having too much power.

not at all concerned about p2pool, and "steady payouts" by using a centralized pool, isn't a big deal to me.
the long-term profitability is way more important than getting a steady drip of coin.
I'd rather deal with the variance, then give up a percentage to a pool, just to have a steadier drip of payouts.

Does P2Pool manage merged mining via pooled way or it works as solo mining? I guess that Pyramining won't be enought powerful to solo mining altcoins

I think I posted something similar, however, eligius doesn't represent a loss in earnings, its a zero % pool plus the nmc mining that would give us an extra % or 2. The way I have my accts setup I would prefer the steadier payouts from eligius right about now. P2pool.info is about 1/200th of the network, the extreme times between blocks are only going to get worse unless a major player comes online.

Hello Pyramining, Just a quick clarification, one of my accounts has a deposit of 6.1 BTC, was a very early account. I clearly remember that it had been allocated 1.6 gh/s approximately earlier, but now when I logged in after a long time it has come down to 51kh/s ?. Isn't that weird, how can the mining power reduce....if this is already deployed hardware. Isnt that the logic you have used to rate the sell prices of the accounts. please provide clarifications. thanks for all the work you been doing. karma I can't speak with 100% certainty, but I think it has to do with how he his allocating the new hashing power to the oldest deposits. My largest account had 12.xx ghs before and now it has 11.5 with quite a few of my deposits having 0.0 hashing power at the moment. Either the rest of the deposits will come on with the new hardware, or as the eldest deposits get cleared out. Hello rd, I got that, its understandable....but your for exaple went from 12.5 gh/s to 11.5 gh/s....mine went from 1.6gh/s approx to 51kh/s????how does the math workt here...isnt adding up...Pyramining, please shift pool. This aint helping anyone....we are just stuck....in a slow rut....get it up to speed, its not like there aren't better options. Find a good pool, unless your intention is to keep it slow..to make people sick of the whole thing and sell of their accounts...which would be a good deal for you. You have been doing good stuff..but dont spoil it with silly stuff hehe. karma

Most of my deposits are currently "inactive" showing 0.0 for hashrate. It appears that the ones that were activated were the ones with the smallest % of payouts. Look at your deposit list, you probably have only a few very old and small deposits activated.

I really hope these numbers are incorrect. If all my account will get is 48MH/s then I may as well forget about it altogether.

He gave hashing power to each deposit equal to what their deposit was worth at the time. There is also something funky with my deposits some make very close together got varying hash rates. Pyra also posted that he would split the excess power among the oldest 10 deposits, so your deposits will get hashing power eventually, you could also pm him and ask him to look at it.

Late 2012 deposits. That explains the hashrate. It also means that you will see that excess hashing power sooner than later.
