So once upon a time, an idea was spawned in IRC to create a tradable entity for Crypto Kingdom that could be added to an exchange. The idea was to create something that was on the blockchain, immutable, and could eventually be tied to the ingame asset CK. After we talked for a while, we decided that CKGAME was a good choice, and Luigi created the token with 100,000 issuance as a Counterparty asset. To this day, it has been sitting with zero utility.
Well, that time has come to an end. I propose that we put that asset into use. It currently lives, completely unused, on the Counterparty blockchain:
https://counterpartychain.io/holders/ckgame. What needs to happen before this can be useful to Crypto Kingdom? I propose the following steps:
1. Issue an additional 10,396,263 so the total of CKGAME tokens is 10,496,263 which matches the amount of the in-game item CK
2. Lock the token inside Counterparty so that no more can ever be produced
3. Get a list of all current CK holders
4. Add a field in the profile for the character that is titled "CK Counterparty Address"
5. Once in-game players fill it out, they can send a note to Luigi and he can send out the amount requested to the address submitted. Now that we have all experienced the wonderful spirit of giving, we can take some of the gifted XMR to spend on the fees to dole out the asset to holders on the blockchain.
Putting this plan into place will render the CK market inside the game moot (for now). It will likely need to be delisted from the game. There is still the issue of dividends, but this can be solved if we implement the previous steps. If you are a ck player who has registered an address, The dividend script could query the address in question to get the amount of CKGAME the user holds, then pay the normal dividend in M inside the game. Assets that are held by people who are not players will not get a dividend. This both rewards existing players, and serves as an incentive mechanism to get players to join the game and "deposit" their CKGAME by registering an address.
Why should we do this? Once we have the ingame CK asset mapped to a blockchain-based CKGAME asset with the game holders holding the 100% emitted token, we can then approach exchanges to get our token added. This will not only raise awareness of CKGAME and thus Crypto Kingdom, but will also add speculators into the asset with external BTC and potentially raise the price of the token and benefit all existing holders. The current rate sits at 1 CK = 0.007 XMR or 0.00008162 BTC. There is no reason this can't change with the influence of an outside party.
Some have mentioned that exchanges need to be bribed. I say, fine, let's take some of the love that has been spread and crowdfund a kitty of CK and BTC to approach exchanges with so we can get it added. It's a small price to pay for some invaluable marketing. Once we get this on an exchange, people will eat it up because it is backed by a real game of 3 years, an active and passionate community, and something that is an income generator.
Further on down the road, we can add a Counterparty depository address system, create an ingame CKGAME token that has a variable total amount that depends on the local wallet's balance on a per player basis, totaled. This way, people can deposit the CKGAME they bought from Poloniex straight into the game to bring not only players, but actual assets other than XMR as well.
