Suggestion:

It would be a little bit of extra work, but I suggest that a monthly payout be integrated into the bi-monthly system.  As it stands now(my understanding) it's 2 months for a cycle regardless of when coins are bought.  They must be in wallet for 2 month to begin qualifying for bonus.  Meaning that if I buy 1000 coins 1 month into a cycle they must wait until the new cycle starts(1 month) and then proceed to be in the wallet throughout the next cycle to qualify(3 months total = 1 month from previous cycle + 2 months from next cycle to qualify).

eg.  I purchase 1000 coins in January at the start of a new payout cycle and they begin the 2 month trek to a March payout.

In February I purchase another 1000 coins.  I must wait until March to have them earn for the next cycle(they won't qualify for existing cycle) meaning a 1 month wait and then another 2 months as part of the next cycle(3 months).

I suggest that 2 month payout cycle be started every month to accommodate people buying on off months to invest.

eg.  Jan. - March
      Feb. - Apr.
      Mar. - May

This has a 3 fold benefit.  It makes it more attractive for existing investors to reinvest on off months instead of waiting for a new cycle.  It also attracts new investors by not making them wait more than 2 months to get payout.  Thirdly is a side effect of the first 2, in that it will make the market more active which is good all around.

Hello my Bro, well we had decided to make it easier due to less staff being around to just do bi monthly and we will take the snapshot 2 weeks before the Dec cash out, otherwise it's just too much work with the staff we got at hand at present, maybe later on if we get more staff we can integrate more stuff. Please bear with us through our growing pains..

I will be in IRC after breaky to help with the rainy seasons..

Also please can everyone make sure they encrypt their wallets, one of our Bagholders got his coins stolen off his PC.. He also just lost his Mother on the weekend so I am trying to get a little bag to him over the next few days.  Cry

The problem with the current setup is there is no market during the bag holding period. In December this will go 2 ways. It will either hit the floor after people sell after receiving their payout or it may climb slightly. Who knows !

I'm not a founder but I hold more than enough coins to be. Qiwoman - your previous answer complaining of the matter being too time consuming is poor. Your not running this as a business.

How many bitcoins have you got left for development ?

A php script collecting data from http://explorer.qibuck.com/wealthiest.php at a random time once a day and putting it into a MySQL database would take a competent developer half an hour. Go to Freelancer and someone will probably do it within 48 hours for about £50.

Then all you need to is choose a payout date. (end of the month ?) and Semi AUTOMATE the process. Yes that may mean spending some more bitcoin and develop the coin. Get yourself a purpose built desktop/web application that checks the database for the previous month and calculates the payout based on number of coins and number of days holding etc. All you would have do is double check the monthly payout for each address and press send. Once up an running it's 1 nights work at the end of every month. This should not cost much. If a mining pool can pay out mined coins every day to all the registered users then half the code is already written.

Instead of spending money on an IRC tip bot that only a handful of people will ever care to use or see how about spending some money on developing the coin and giving people a reason to invest in this coin again.

+1 automating the 'proof of baghold' and maybe even the payout as soon as possible would be a good idea.
the sooner the more time you have for other things to do (walking the dog, weekend trip, investing in something awesome) and what ever you pay for it will benefit you in the long run.

au contraire on the tipbot thingy, buddy Grin

Qiwoman, please answer one of my earlier questions. How much money is left for development ?

Also, as a proof of concept I have just written a php script that runs at midnight every day on a cron job and puts the http://explorer.qibuck.com/over100.php data into a database. It took 49 minutes to do and I don't consider myself to be competent.

Over the next week I will write the second part of the script that will calculate the payout dependent on days in wallet, payout percentages etc. It will display the result in an HTML table and give you the option to export the data as a CSV.

As of now at least you will have a daily snapshot (automated) if you did change things in the future.

At this moment no set amount as what we have left is all invested in coins and projects to earn roi for the Bagholder bonuses. We do want to try get a dev on board who likes our concept on a percentage wage basis like we are..Was discussing with the Team for a 5% wage for a Dev but we are still in discussion if we want to do this or pay devs piecemeal for jobs done. I will ask our asset manager tomorrow what we can allot this month for any development. We are first waiting to see if the current dev will deliver any work for us from what we paid. and has delayed 3 months in doing so. Either way we will know end of the month what the earning percentage will be. How much would you charge for this task that you currently are doing? We would consider paying you a bounty for it, depending on what's available, like I said I can't make decisions alone and I don't have access to most of the assets so will get back to you in the next few days.

I do not want any payment. If you are in agreement let's just get a working example going and then let people vote on which way to go.
