For anyone interested I have mostly completed my new crypto website, there are several blogs about Horizon on it, and I added Horizon to the predictions section. (actually one of the three cryptos I have been buying more of very recently)

http://www.cryptocollectorsclub.com/predictions.html

Oh yes, I am testing some stuff for HZ on my mac right now by the way, looking good! Smiley

Hi pharesim,

can you please add the total node count to the message? With the new distribution method the total amount of distributed HZ per day is  difficult to determine.

The NFD swap is over.

With a total of 3.01B NFD sent to the swap address, 120M HZ (12% of the total supply) have been distributed to the former NFD community. The received NFD were sent to the genesis address.

Ok, so I just get the number of payments made.
But I would like to have the number of nodes that should be paid for.
Alternatively the height of the "remaining distribution" would be ok, which was the basis for the calculation of payment amount.

I am still having problems.  I now get this:

2015-07-06 10:15:01 INFO: Started API server at 127.0.0.1:7776
2015-07-06 10:15:01 INFO: Started peer networking server at 0.0.0.0:7774
2015-07-06 10:15:01 INFO: Initialization took 35 seconds
2015-07-06 10:15:01 INFO: Nhz server NHZ V3.9.1 started successfully.

Is that normal?  Where is my actual wallet?   I am not technical so an idiot guide would be great.

Thanks for the tip.  I  did that and get this:

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1:7776.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I have tried on different browsers but with the same result.  I guess I will have to skip the world of NHZ for now.  Sad   Oh well.  Thanks for trying.

Do you use a proxy to access the internet? If yes, please check the proxy configuration. localhost (127.0.0.1) must not be routed through the proxy.

1B - https://explorer.horizonplatform.io/api.php?page=distributed

This is not really usable:
04-07-2015; 10:00 UTC; distributed 851,251,064
05-07-2015; 14:00 UTC; distributed 861,099,671 -> Difference from prev. day: 9,848,607
06-07-2015; 07:35 UTC; distributed 863,884,156 -> Difference from prev. day: 2,784,485

The change per day is too much. Which time should I use?
The distribution changed from Saturday to Sunday at almost 10 million. Of these, about 9 million HZ !!! were no node bounties.
I need the "remaining distribution", which was the basis for the calculation of payment amount.

No proxy.  Just normal connection.  So there are 2 problems here, 1. it does not compile and 2, the connection problems.  I have a dozen other Crypto wallets on my mac and never had these problems before. It must be some setting or something.  I don't know  Sigh.

You don't need to run your own node to use HZ. There's the web wallet for transactions and forging pools you can lease your balance to.

I just feel its safer having it on my mac rather than online.  If nobody can offer a solution I might consider it but as I said, I would prefer a wallet on my mac.  Thanks for all your help.  Any other suggestions would be welcome.
