"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed

Re-posted from the FB group: Good evening! It's been a VERY busy summer for us, and the fruits of the labor are ready to start being picked and enjoyed. To start things off, we are releasing HZ client V 3.9.2 tonight, and you can find the download links below: https://github.com/NeXTHorizon/hz-source/releases/tag/hz-v3.9.2https://horizonplatform.io/get-started/wallets/This release is in preparation for our 4.0 release, which will follow this release in 10 days. HZ 5.0 will follow in about a month as we are in the process of testing it and adding a few things. There will be three major unannounced projects / developments unveiled / brought LIVE this month! A lot of secrecy has been kept around these projects for the past year, but the time has almost come to make them public, and we are all excited to share them with the world. As always, we would like to thank everyone for their PATIENCE, understanding, support, and engagement within the community. The recent increase in community engagement and work have been greatly appreciated, and we look forward to taking the next big leaps forward with everyone. - Horizon Development Team

Please keep working on this personal project. It's 100x better than the official client.

Second thing is why you changed payout script method (decrease the amount of daily reward) without community voting? Looks like socialism.
On the contrary, it looks like capitalism ) It was neither a political nor an economic decision. We had two options: keep as-is, deplete our funds during the next two months or so, and suddenly stop paying anything or make that change and let the funds run out slowly over a longer timespan The choice was obvious for everyone on the team, and nobody felt the need for further discussion. The only ones who'd have voted "no" are big-style node operators looking to maximize personal short-term profits. Those can vote with their nodes.

The new GUI doesn't look too bad so far. It's functional and it's not using a font that hurts to read.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what's the exact difference between hz-v3.9.2.zip & hz-v3.9.2-node.zip ?
Also, I much prefer this readable font in the preview.

the -node wallet is preconfigured for running a public node yourself Thanks, I'm running a hallmarked node, but always just used the hz-v3.9.x.zip version linked to from the horizon wallet page, but kept my .properties file. I guess I'll download the -node version and see for myself exactly where there are differences between the two downloads.

Ah great, so it is only for public node, as you said (not regular hallmark node). Perhaps in future it could be named as such: hz-*-publicnode.zip Just a suggestion anyway. Thanks for that info!

Is there any list what's new in version 3.9.2 comparing with 3.9.1? Also, could somebody make a snap of current blockchain database, zip it and put it for download on official HZ page? As update needs database rescan, it could speed up update process if there this downloadable new version database.

I only ask why you dont ask community, just inform it on facebook page. And why you generalize and trying to be sarcastic to node operators? I am node operator i dont no big or not (about 100 nodes) and dont sell my HZ from bounties just accumulate for long run investment. Yes i must pay for VPS i must pay for electricity for hardware for IP assingments. I work very hard to configure them properly and i espect investment return. Bounty node is core of HZ is main distribution method. We are like miners in PoW like cryptocurrencies, our nodes confirming transatcions etc. So dont understimate us. Just my one HZ.
