When I start forging, close and open the page of the wallet, the forging is already stopped.

so if I close the page, the forging really stops?

Make sure in your config file, you have forging set to true

From our Slack channel:

Here's the latest release candidate. block for hard fork is planned at 500k, the var hiding the menu entries can be changed in html/js/nrs.js (forkBlock) - please do some testing, also on testnet if possible (The new features are active there).

After starting new version on Windows 10, there is nhz.properties file created in C:\Users\xxxxx\appdata\roaming\NXT. It should be created NHZ directory, I think lot of us is using NXT also, so it could make some confusion.

EDIT: also compact.bat not working, error: Database not found. While run.bat and client are working. Seems some mess with directories for both commands. My db is in the same directory as NHZ 5.2 is.

If I turn on the forging and close the page, it keeps forging normally, but when I open it again is stopped. It must be some bug.

If you only close the window then the node will still forge. It only looks like forging is stopped. With the upcoming release you will see at least status unknown.

TIP: Are you staking your coins? If not, you are losing Horizon's 10% stake holder's bounty!

With only few more weeks left to the end of Horizon's distribution, any coin that is left in the exchanges is losing daily interest. If you want to increase the value of your investment, you must have it moved to an account. At the current rate our promotion will last only 4-6 more weeks, so you are advised to take your money out of the exchanges and stake it in your account.

By the way, this advise is valid for other coins, keeping your money in the exchanges might be risky...

We'll probably use a later block for the hard fork. We didn't find anyone trust-able to create a windows installer, so Mawo bought himself a copy and will do it the next couple days. This will remove the haste for users to go through the directory folder and run it through the .bat

Just curious as to whether or not coins stored on your web-wallet are actively staking for account holder?

Hey, coins do stake on the web wallet.
Stake holder bounty scans each account and pays out based on the holdings in them at that time, once every 24h.

Possible about 5.2...

It's just a release candidate, and only for testing purposes. It will fork at block 500k, which is too early. You need to switch back to the current version for now and use the final release for you node.
