You guys might want to read this, I think everyone here has been scammed.

https://twitter.com/ummjackson/status/522523718900133888

There's no Alex Green according to that document, it was just an alias.

Great post, here's something that jumped out at me:

http://blog.moolah.io/2014/10/15/the-reports-of-my-death-have-been-greatly-exaggerated/

"MintPal as an exchange is sticking around, and will be up within the next day or so in order to enable people to withdraw coins ahead of key changes to the platform. At this stage, it is still highly likely that management will be passing to another entity as planned; though the beneficial owners of the exchange have received a number of acquisition offers."

This publication was written on Oct 15, let's see how long 'a day or so is for them'.

Yeah, he's trying to scam investors a bit more. Or he's just buying time

OK so yeh Alex Green is a pseudonym and a known long time scammer as ousted by the Dogecoin guys:

Blocked out the address because I don't want to be "that guy"

And yet again... "with Ryan Kennedy"

Then there is this thread, which matches up with the above: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=306947.0

Here's some more from 2012 with the same name(s): https://encyclopediadramatica.se/index.php?title=Senshimedia&diff=prev&oldid=398058

Next up... https://www.facebook.com/LemonadeDev - Look who!

Is this our buddy rambling? http://btcfaucet.com/logs/lemon.txt I believe so

This post is getting long... http://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/comments/1cl17j/lemonadedev_is_a_scam_artist_be_wary_of_nuplaynzbx/

Then we have this guy, who supposedly has also been involved...http://antz29.com (Original Moolah whois)

Thanks for the links!

This one is hilarious, clearly "Alex Green" has a long scam M.O. https://encyclopediadramatica.se/index.php?title=Senshimedia&diff=prev&oldid=398058

posting on behalf of a friend

Hi guys,

Some of you may have seen my recent post about my initiative to reclaim the funds which had been withheld from me through locking of my accounts since July on Mintpal which Moolah has declined to take any responsibility for - http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/2is99c/for_public_recordmy_legal_notice_letter_to/

After a lot of digging around I can confirm that the holding company for Mintpal is called Torihiki Ltd, Company Registration Number - 09143500 of 145-157 St John Street, London, EC1V 4PW

The three directors are

Miss Chelsea Hopkins (Also a director of Mintpal Ltd)

Mr Ferdous Ahmed

Mr Michael  Chiu

I am going to be placing a CCJ against the company for the monies owed given the circumstances and I would advise anyone else in a similar situation as me or anyone who has lost part of the current 450btc reported through BitCoinTalk thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=824211.200

Please note that at present, Jay and Jason from Mintpal have allowed all decisions for Mintpal Ltd to be made through this holding company and therefore it is the only recourse in order to ensure that we are paid our funds back in full, with interest at the statutory rates dictated by UK Law.

If you are owed money either via inaccessible funds or through investments then please post here so that we can arrange for affected users to issue multiple CCJ’s against Torihik Ltd - I have already sent legal correspondence via international post to Mintpal Ltd stating 14 days notice - given that Moolah has since not even bothered getting back in contact with me about my ongoing account issues I can only assume that little to nothing will be done even when my letters arrive.

This will completely destroy the credit rating of the business as well as the Directors involved for several years and if in the event that they do not comply and pay the CCJ’s in the timeframe then we will issue a winding up order which will encompass all assets from Mintpal Ltd and any other companies held / owned by Torihiki Ltd.

Please see these imgur links for sources of the official documentation taken from Mintpal Ltd company information - the first image is the most important as it clearly states that Torihiki is able to operate/make decisions on behalf of Mintpal Ltd - http://imgur.com/qNNr8w8,jpa1AiR,mrhW0gj,LPzxCxp,KjIwjoH,PJxy6m0,PhgxZHe,XyZFAV4,y4tbK8c#0

This is on behalf of Weredo911

Thanks

Svq
Hi Svq

Thanks for the info and good for you for fighting all this time, you were right too....

So now we know the Moolah CEO is a confirmed scam artist (big time scam artist) where does that leave us...

The docs you posted above suggest that Torihik Ltd has management input to Mintpal Ltd via the special resolution, but I can't see them in the shareholders listings.

So I think the priority is confirming which company has legal ownership (and liability) for the customer funds (our coins)

If this is anything owned >50% by "Alex Green" then I think it's safe to say the coins have already gone.

But I hope we can untangle this and he hasn't gotten his sticky paws on the coins although I fear the worst...lets see.....

Thanks very much. I've been talking with sources for the past 6 hours, fine tuning everything. Palmer, Green and others. I expect more movements tomorrow or within the next coming days.

MintPal article is slated for tomorrow as well. They received some bad comments from a respected player in crypto.

^ man i really had my head in the sand if there have been serious problems like that since July!! Ughhhh!

I think we all got scammed and this guy fooled a lot of people - the Moolah employees who he fired yesterday and are now unemployed, the Dogecoin guys, all the Moolah PIE investors, Mintpal customers, even going back years there is a trail of people scammed.  People like this are just cut from a certain cloth, they are crooks down to the bone and can't help scamming everything they do, sure everyone has met someone like this in their life.  Shame he decided to get into Crypto not what we need right now lol......

Completely agree too.

However I would like to propose that the altcoin community puts up a sizeable bounty for information leading to his arrest.

Just thought it was a morale duty to let you know that 'Lemon' is a known scammer who was arrested last week by Bath Police. The reason you haven't heard from him for your repayments is because he's moved on to a new company Mythic Ltd. If you've been scammed by him, please feel free to call 101 and add your story to the case.

i had 0 coins there
why ? because i keep my coins in my own wallets, usually backed up
why ? because no exchange is 100% 'bullet' proof...

next to be hacked are cryptsy, bittrex. and then bye bye altcoins industry ?

people need to keep their coins in own wallets. that is the whole point of decentralization.
besides if you keep your coins in your own wallet and send to exchange only when want to sell - there might be more value to your coins.
buy/mine... store... sell/use.

not hashing, folding and curing (check FLDC merged-folding! reuse good GPUs)

i got lucky and got 60+ darkcoins out of mintgox about 24-48 after v2 launched. i took one look at the new v2 ui and got out.

i think this was a scam from the beginning. looks like alex moolah took over mintpal in order to liquidate the coins they (mintpal) privately owned and then file for bankruptcy. they claim no customer funds/coins were dumped/traded and they still have them. time will tell.
based on past volume and blockchain analysis it looks like darkcoin was the biggest one he dumped. possibly around 70k+ in one week (10/7-10/14) and over 150k since he took over.
i can't imagine it's legal to take over/buy out a company and then empty the bank account of that company and sell all the companies assets and everything and then file for bankruptcy a few weeks later and double, triple or quadruple + your money.

"Ryan Francis Gentle, born 17/12/86 in Freedom Fields Hospital, Plymouth.
Couldn't even find Japan on a map, let alone live there for the years he claims to have.
Black belt in origami, and no more a qualified lawyer than my dog.
It's actually his sister who has had the health problems - his are all in his head.
I bet one of your bitcoins that there is not one person who has actually had any success in getting any joy from Ryan. He is a modern day Walter Mitty with only intentions of ripping people off.
So Ryan, if you're reading this - give it a fucking rest. It's getting boring now."
