sgminer is 1.06Ghs on same clock, gtx1070, shame still no one fixed CPU usage, so only 3 cards per i5 can work, 5 card rigs are possible on 8 core

I tested the sgminer with a 5 card celeron rig. Got 300MHASH on the gtx 1070.

sure the CPU is crashing it, on i5 2x 1070 CPU usage is 60% and speed is 2.140Gh/s with

and still sgminer opencl is faster for me, just checked SP2 speed, its 920Mhs on 2Ghs

Either you have a problem or sp-mod doesn't work as expected, because my miner does that speed at a much lower clock.

don`t know sp2 with one thread is 99% GPU usage and two thread 100% but no gain

sp1 mod had same speed for 2 threads, and 1 thread was slower... maybe its like that on windows

I didn't get even a single donation for the faster pascal solo miner (on which the sp-mod is based). I see that nothing changed in this front :-/

hmmm ...

and i was looking - but another knockback so that you can work alone mate? ...

there shouldnt be any complaints if that is the choice that you made ...

i respect the work you do - as with the respect i have for most devs ... but the choices you make as a dev is what sets you apart ...

sp has greed - and that works for him ... you have good dev work - and well - no greed ... that makes you a good dev - but broke ( on a crypto income level ) ...

1000gpu is nothing on a global scale - but that is a massive farm for a single dev to accomplish ... i know what a large farm consists of - and one that is more than 2.5 times that is much harder to maintain and build ...

we WILL have the best devs in the world working with us eventually ( we have a couple now - hence the massively optimized miner ) - its only btc we are short of ... for now Wink ...

like sp - we reinvest into thefarm - theinfrastructure - all into chainworks industries ( cwi ) - so that we can employ the best in the world ... you are on our radar pallas ...

sp greed can work for him ... while he talks in the hundreds of thousands - we talk ( and aim ) for the billions ...

nuff sed ... watch what this year brings mate Wink ...

DECRED IS ON THE RISE--

The value of Decred is going up, paying better than Equihash, Neoscrypt, Lyra2v2, or Library Credits.  I have avoided the PascalCoin trend, and will wait for something stable and reliable before I waste hash on the coin.

This thread has been a really good read the past few days, however, with all the opinions and info being posted.  Hope other miners are earning their keep.       --scryptr

SP , have you implemented a scrypt to change algo on multiple unified rigs , once (not rig by rig).
This is something bothering me for some time...

Miner control, only for some yiimp like pools, nicehash miner, for nicehash, and spatial edition of sgminer fore some pools...
And yes, you can find in this thread some type of bat files for pools, thet have possibilities to autoswitching algos.

can you reach 5GH on a 1070? it would be really profitable currently
If I opensource, nothing will be profitable. Wink
well i can pay for 5GH on a single 1070

Decred is a good blockchain with fiat bank support. Soon profitable with the opensource kernel as well...

The man of many words is back. Smiley

Greed? I provide free or cheap kernels that you can use to make money.

no - you dont ...

you provide words and marketing based on other devs work - that you manipulate ...

yes - you DO some nice codework on 'some' kernels - but that does not negate the fact that you provide little support to those who have supported YOU sp ...

you promise so much - but deliver little ...

and as for backing the donors! ... well - i have not received a single update or message or ANYTHING from you - no matter how much you 'say' you have ... i mean - its only been a year Smiley ...

hence why i STOPPED supporting you effort to greedily ( yes - that word again ) suck btc from those that buy ( ie - support ) your products - only to have you call US ( your customers ) 'dickheads' ...

there really is only ONE 'dickhead' here sp ... and guess what? ... it isnt ANY of your supporters / customers ...

remember where you began - and who helped you ... then humble yourself and make good on the promises of old ... the pompous bragging RICH sob we see before us is NOT the sp that was ...

many words? ... hehehe ... you have no idea mate ... all the work and testing and support that you and i have done - especially behind the scenes - and you have the balls to call me a 'dickhead' along with your other customers? ...

as for the 'cheap' kernels ... well admittedly - they are not that expensive - but CONTINUOUSLY paying for VERY small increases in hashrates is not what one would call 'cheap' ... so yes - i would call that greed ... anyone would - and they have ...

but respect is given where its due - and kudos to you for the 'work' that you have done on other developers WORK and kernels ... you are smart mate - i will give you that ... but when it comes to people i will want to have in my company - you are the last of the lot ... true colors show when a person does not 'need' ... and now you dont 'need' anyone like you once did when you started - your true colors are dark and full of greed ... its all i ( and a lot of others ) see ...

in any case - you by far do NOT have the fastest miner / kernels ... by far ... the difference between us is simple ...

- we do not screw people by marketing the miner like a carrot infront of every one - and show a small 1-5% increase ( which is irrelevant as NO ONE has the SAME card tested ) ... you do! ...
- we do not entangle ourselves in fights of who has the better miner ( or bigger dick for that matter ) ... you do! ...
- we do not - and WILL NOT engage in a btc / cash grab to further ourselves ... you do! ...

there are a number of things more i can - and probably need to say - but refrain ... because with you - it always falls on deaf ears ...

keep going sp - as you will ... the newbies as well as the old - will probably keep your pockets filled for a short while ... but the respect as person will fade very quickly - and everyone will all move to those that are honest decent people - that BACK their customers and deliver what they promise - NOT call them 'dickheads' because they made you rich ...

have another bottle of wine or three - and tell us what you really think of us all mate ... its true that the truth comes out when you are pissed ... im sure it would be something to read - in the few words you have to call us the profane crap that you do ...

btw - just to let you burn a little more - our miner is between 7-16% higher than what you advertise on most algos ( there is some dick waving right there mate )  ... which means that the tweaking you do is little ( and still charge for ) - compared to the real dev work of recoding kernels done by the work of real developers ... it also means you have a long way to go before optimal capacity is reached ... something your 'tweakwork' is incapable of reproducing ...

hows them for 'many words' ...

and many times before - diversion of the real matter is done - again ...

and once again - i wont get into the garbage that is what you call advice ... as many many MANY times before and long ago - i have explained - that it just doesnt work the way you ASSUME it does ... wine is NOT your saviour for linux users ... never has been ...

it just does NOT work on a LOT of the systems mate ...

and once again - great diversion from the real point - of never supporting your customers with the updates you promised AND we paid for ... again - only a year - right? ... hehehe ...

Wolf0 never give any updates. And he sell his work much more expensive.

I release a exeminer that is 10-15% faster than the opensource. And then someone release a opensource miner that match my speed.. You should be thankful that I give an updates at all...

im only thankful to those that back their word sp ...

and they also have my btc and backing ...

im NOT saying you are doing 'nothing' - im saying that you do NOT back what you say you will - especially to us 'dickheads' - remember? ...

updates to the donors ... my butt! ...

i donated more than my share - more than my purchases - much much more than most - even YOU wrote that in a page way back ... and what do i get ( along with others here that support you by being your CUSTOMERS ) for the support? ... NOTHING ... thats what ... where are the updates to donors? ... i havent seen a damn thing from you for a year ...

no email - no message - no products ive paid for ... NOTHING ...

and linux support? ... all you can come up with is 'works under wine' ... hahaha - what a farce ...

and lets mention the support you gave me when i asked for a 'fixed' makefile for the spreadminer that i PAID for? ... what did you say? ... do it yourself ... learn ...

and THAT is what im talking about sp - YOUR LACK of customer support - LACK of responsibility to your customers - LACK of care to those that have supported you for so damn long ...

thankful? ... o - im thankful ... but sure as hell not to you ...

and as for wolf0 ... yup - he sells his miner / kernels at a much higher rate than you ... but believe it - he had the respect of keeping his word EVERY TIME i did business with him ... EVERY SINGLE TIME ... there is never a time i would not do business with wolf0 - because he delivers what he promises - full stop! ...

now wolf0 is a person that has my respect ...

You write

wine ccminer -a LBRY --benchmark

instead of

ccminer -a LBRY --benchmark

How hard can it be? The other linux users don't complain

it doesnt work under fedora ... at that time it was an earlier fedora ...

seriously mate ... since you are making SO much btc / cash now ... how hard is it for you to run a vm for your customers and test that for yourself? ... or even buy a machine - cheap system and install and test for yourself? ... all that money - and no inclination to back what you provide? ...

come on mate ...

do the right thing and make a linux native binary - its not that hard is it - mister 'im on a 1000gpu farm now - meaning im rich enough to do a simple thing like compile a linux kernel for my PAYING customers' ...

sheesh! ...
