If you read on the spreadcoin thread there will soon be a fork of spreadcoin where the old coin holders will have a stake in the new coin. Similar to the ethereum classic fork.

Might explain the +15% on the exchange price today.

Good advice. Mine and hold, and buy some as well..

More info here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1809278.msg18021096#msg18021096

this can have a potential for a great pump to 100k, very undervalued currently

If you're talking about Spreadcoin... meh, the last commits (other than two minor fixes) on SPR's github is from September, 2015 and since then it's always Soon™ and Stay Tuned™.

Don't get me wrong, the features that are cooking are great but not delivering small chunks is not the way to go.

If, and when georgem delivers it might get pumped hard but I don't think SPR is currently undervalued. A uniquie wallet and algo doesn't make it so and it can be poolmined...

HLM on the other hand we don't know much about. It will be a Dash fork with manual coinswap with escrow (instead of blockchain snapshot), not a Spreadcoin codebase fork.

People will get to claim whatever stake they have in Spreadcoin in a new coin called HLM (full name to be released in due course after setting up github and a website).
Everyone will be given plenty of notice about being able to claim their new coins and we won't be short changing anyone. So if you claim your HLM's you'll have Spreadcoin's and HLM coins in equal measure.
(...)

coins101 writes that you can claim HLM's if you are a spreadcoin owner after the fork..

we are prepared to pay you for your improvements and will open source them.

The problem with nicehash is that they pay to little. https://whattomine.com have included nicehash profits and compare them to mining the coins directly.

In the LBRY algo , a gtx 1070 will only make $1.11 if you mine @ nicehash, and $1.87 (+68%) if you mine on a pool.

If that's so, then you can BUY that cheap hashpower, direct it to that +68% pool and earn a lot, no? ^^

And we are not talking about paying to miners, but paying to you for speed improvements Smiley

i was talking about HLM, from what i've understood the swap should make spreadcoin more valuable if it will reveal to be a good project, it will not be another x11 algo probably...

Buying hash is a joke. Selling hash is for lazy plug and play miners with low profit.

Nice results

what clock setting is this?

2100 clock mem was 400, but mem is not a real factor with this algo, only core, consumption was way too high though, above 200watt as a peak

this is the superjetstream gpu, way better than the other, it can go very high, i'm pleased with this gpu

the bad thing that i noticed is that with spreadminer10, my gpu emits a stupid sound(a bip, continuously)  did you noticed it?

I had that with a few algos back with 780 Ti's but it's disappeared a few weeks in on all the cards. Apparently some new cards emit high pitch noise until they burn in.

i can't now, but it's similar to a coil whine but it's not continuos like a coil whine, there are intermittences

this can have a potential for a great pump to 100k, very undervalued currently

The developer is a former member of the darkcoin/dash development team. He has been working on an improved version of the dash master node system for 2 years. And now plan to add this to spreadcoin in a new branch.. this could be huge..

Dash went from 0 to the 3rd biggest altcoin in the world.

Spreadcoin is a clear buy at these low prices...

crypto is up and down, now it's amd again, this is not a valid reason for me to choose amd, they have only etheruem now, which is again luck that its value increased randomly...

next time will be lbry or spreadcoin or zcash(amd is not that great here or at best the same cost per watt...), and will be talking about nvidia is better again...no point in these argument

also it's only because clymore didn't release the dual mining pascal for nvidia...

Have you heard of the Claymore Equihash miner? Do you know the whole reason Equihash is more profitable right now is because AMD miners left Equihash for Eth+Pasc. It was more profitable before.

This isn't a seesaw. The Nvidia hashrate isn't going to magically disappear. People aren't going to sell off their hardware, so it wont become magically more profitable for Nvidia, unless either AMD hashrate hops off, there is some sort of new highly profitable coin for Nvidia, or a new miner comes out. Those are the only ways.

All three of those things are very hard to come by and the only reason AMD hashrate hoped off was because of the new miner Claymore released with Eth+Pasc.

Claymore didn't release dual mining for Pascal? I don't get what you mean by that. It's probably quite profitable, I pointed that out already, but once again it's not two times more profitable or anywhere close.

He's probably referring to something like coil whine and it happens to be that the GPU is using just enough power where it becomes audible and resonates. Nothing really to do with the miner.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

well look i was right it's spreadcoin time as i said...

yes the dual mining from clymore is not working for nvidia but only on amd, i tried to dual mine and all i get is zero hash on pascal and only ethereum working right

He's probably referring to something like coil whine and it happens to be that the GPU is using just enough power where it becomes audible and resonates. Nothing really to do with the miner.

nope, with spreadminer sp 9 there is not such problem, no noise at all, and it doesn't matter what power limit i set, with this version instead there is even with 60 PL, but i'm sure it will go away

it's because the card is new as bathrobehero said
