I agree with you 100% DrMike. Cann is going places and anyone jumping off the train for short term profits is going to regret it. My group has been accumulating it for the past 4 months. 

One from the group speaking: I can fully support that statement! CANN has so much room left to grow (heh) and it was a 100% good investment.

Hi Joe, welcome to CannabisCoin and the Yes We CANN community.

Your economics depend on how much you pay for power and the hash rate you can generate for that cost. At this stage people are still selling for what I consider ridiculously low prices and unless you have a lot of hash power for little cost then buying the coins direct is probably the cheapest option for now.

There are other considerations of course. You may want to help secure the network (very civic minded of you ). You may also be looking for the experience in preparation for when mining returns rise - for that to occur the exchange price rise has to be greater than the mining subsidy halving (approximately every 46 days) and with crops expected to hit the market that is virtually a given. Of course more people will want a piece of that action so mining difficulty will rise proportionately.

You can purchase hash rate from one of the various bundling sites, that is quite reasonably priced - just point it at one of the listed pools and start collecting coins. Bear in mind that the total number of coins generated per day is now down to ~13,500 (seconds per day / 42 second block time * 6.5625 coins/block) and that will halve again in the middle of May.

Let me save you some money, time and energy. Don't bother mining, period. Bitcoin, altcoins , doesn't matter. Unless you have millions of dollars to invest in a cutting edge bitcoin mine you're throwing your money away. I'm not saying it's impossible to make a profit, because sometimes the coin you're mining happens to sky rocket and that makes your mining worth it, BUT if you just bought the coins off the market you'd have made more. $1,000 worth of coin is going to pay out much better than $1,000 worth of mining gear and mining said coin. Allll just my .02

Edit: Mining was a total blast. I used a network or raspberry pi's as brains for the operation and it worked perfectly, not only was it challenging to set up, but it was suprisingly fun to have up and running. I felt pretty cool. But that quickly turned into sadness once I realized how unprofitable it is.

Take it from someone who spent around $5000 in equipment total.  While I did have a lot of fun mining, it wasn't a very profitable investment.  I did mine about 3 bitcoins worth in 3 months when they were around $800/coin, but my power bill a month was about $400/month (mostly from my AC) - so do the math.  I will say that if you mine a brand new coin, you have a better chance of profits since most coins don't hit exchanges until the price has started to rise, so this is one thing to consider - although paying someone to mine a new coin is probably alot cheaper than buying the equipment outright.  Either way, good luck!

Look, I'm struggling to coin grown and developed, including the price, the sharp sales amounting to more than 10 btc not like anyone, isn't it? I got everybody we have an idea to make it 100 btc on 3000 sat, so there was no more desire to go below.

Well I would love to see a 100 btc wall at 3000 , you got 100 btc left over somewhere ?

I agree that it would be wiser to sell 10+ btc orders in little chunks , it avoids a scary looking crash which could cause others to panic , also mostly you get a higher price for your coins since you do not have to sell 13 btc down the orderbook.

I am not that worried about the price though , every steep rise needs a retracement , 20/4 is still 2 weeks away.

First of all:

1. NO one knows the date of the event or where.
2. People that are selling now = not smart and will be the ones that will help spike the coin to ATH soon
3. D9 is smart. He will release the information when he is ready. Them BOOM!
4. This coin is one of the Biggest no brainers in crypto. The people jumping off are going to jump into some sh*tcoin and lose their gains. Then jump back with less coins.  Crypto = Dumb Money.

Buy CANN and walk away for 1 week. You will have a lot more $$$. If I know D9, You should walk away for 1 year and you will be Freaking Rich. You guys are judging the future by looking at the past chart = Unsophisticated. A lot has happened since Oct with Laws, D9's business relationships, mining rewards, market sentiment, the size of the CaNNdy grow facilities, number of grow partners...etc. The last event was only a test. You Bittrex ticker watchers and coin jumpers will never be RICH. My guys have been buying this up like nuts in Dec, Jan, and Feb !!

After every spike there were some selloffs , support shrinked and people started selling after a small retrace from the previous ath , but then support always came back and support rose another 900 sat , support came back , 12 btc to 3000 !

Also I think after many of the crave holders took profit the pump + the extra btc some people earned , might go into cann since it has realy good natural volume and a lot of momentum going for it at the moment.

Good news!  We will be meeting with some more potential MMJ industry innovators based in Denver, Colorado this week and also next week.  
Its been very busy around here, We have so many things that we'd like to get involved in to help CannabisCoin become more of what it already is and beyond.  You can only imagine the mountain of TO-DO's going on in the home front. Rest assured, CANN is MOVING FORWARD with the help of the community members and talented individuals alike!  

Secondly, I would like to say apologies to the CANN community on BCT forum for having to deal with the large amounts of spam, fud, and just outright childish acts of others on this forum as it has become almost a regular occurrence.  I personally do not have the time or the energy to partake in such behaviors and would rather "innovate and NOT participate" in foolish competition games.  You can count me out on that front.

Lastly, I want to re-iterate the "Thank You's" to the community and the contributors.  We CANN and WE WILL!

I agree. Thanks for the update; every now and then some news is always good.

I spent the last weeks accumulating a nice amount of CANN when it was around 2000sat, because I really believe in the idea of this project. It combines crypto with the outside world, tends to increase its real world use and fights for a topic which is important for all of us, if you're smoking or not: the right to be free, to make your own choices and to be treated as a grown up who can make his own decisions.

That is what this project is standing for, for me, personally.


So, besides a nice increase of the price in the coming days, weeks and months, I wish you and your project all the best, D9!
